Help|About PT Private Server

The first thing to do is to download this serverfiles (Version 1871 Serverfiles):
Fusion_Dev_Repack_kpt_1871.rar - FileFront.com
Make sure you have remove your old 1855 serverfiles. Make a folder named "PT Server" and extract the rar file you just downloaded (the "Fusion_Dev_Repack, v1871) in the PT Server folder. Remember the folder name of the serveriles are "FusionPT" go in there and edit your hotuk, look at this hotuk for example (I tooked it from SiK's guide)
(You do these " // " if you want to unable some event, and you do " * " if you want to enable any event.
(I think this is a "v1855" Hotuk, im not sure. Well you have to try it and see if it says "Conn.Faild" when you're trying to get in.

If you still get "Conn.Faild" try to remove those // from *GAMESERVER, that is a required command line.

Well I hope you have edit your OBDC, because if you havent is that the reason why you cant connect. I will make another post in here about the OBDC, how to do with it, if you dont find out where to search for it...
Well if you still getting "Conn.Faild" try to remove your "SQL.dll" from your serverfiles (Well I know that you can edit a thing in the "SQL.dll" but I dont know where, so we have to hope that someone else will make a post about it in this thread) My brother did it in our server and it works almost perfectly.
So try to remove the "SQL.dll" from your "xPT" Folder (Save the SQL.dll somewhere, do not throw it away)
When you have remove the "SQL.dll" from the folder, open the server with the
-Endless.Tower-Update.v.2.2- (Make sure you're using a client who is the same version as your serverfiles. You could download "dPT" you could use thier client, they are using v1871. You could download it here:

When the downloading are completed put it in your "xPT" folder. Make sure that you have edit your "Regedit"
Remember, when you're starting the client with "dPTs" client will it say "dPT" in the left window corner, and it will say "Conn to dPT", and it will say "Quitting dPT, bb!" like that, you can change it in here:

(Hex Workshop), But its pretty hard to find out how to do without any kind of guide. So use your eyes to find out how to do, there is many peoples who have the same prob as you have, so you dont have to make any new stupid thread, look for some thread who is intresting you about hexing. Well if its very importand, of course, make a thread about it.
(You could do one more thing, if you still getting "Conn.Faild" when you've remove the "SQL.dll" from your "xPT" folder, try out hamachi. When you're starting the program will you see a IP, who starts at "5"

Follow the guide who is following the installation, read it while the Hamachi starts.

use your standard IP to connect into your server. (Make sure you've input the
IP of Hamachi "If you're using Hamachi to connect" or your standard IP in your serverfiles Hotuk.ini)
Make sure you have much in RAM (If you're using Hamachi could you have 256MB in RAM and still keep the server up with no lags, without Hamachi is the minimum 3GB in RAM if you wont it to lag as hell. If you have got 1GB in RAM and are running a server without Hamachi will the players get DC all the time, and the server will crash)
Well me and my brother did all this i just guided you(I did take some links from SiK's Guide called "[Guide][Any Files] Server Setup | FAQ | Troubleshooting Guide")
(There is two more thing you can do if you still getting "Conn.Faild" Press at "Reload Config" on the little window who cames up when you're starting your server. Press at "File" then "Reload Config"
That was the "one" thing to do if you still getting "Conn.Faild" the secound thing to do it to go into controlpanel>Administrator Tools>OBDC>System-DSN>Add>Scroll Down and choose "SQL Server" and press at next>At name, type: c8master and on Server type your SQL Server Name in there, like: xxxxxx/SQLEXPRESS. Then take "With windowns NT-verify. press at next> You could choose between Accound_db and Accountdb, choose accountdb. Because if you take the accound_db wont your server works. Then press at next> Take the one who says: Please converte of the PC group (i think it should be translated like that, but im not sure) then press at complete. Remember check the computer source. The sourse should be "OK!" If dont, I dont know what to do, you could try to remake the OBDC part)
All this in this guid did we do (We followed SiK's Guide) woks fine for us!
