Well I'm getting a new phone for Christmas, and I'm kinda stuck on which phone to take. I've narrowed my choice down to these three:
Samsung SGH-U600 Unlocked Quad-Band Phone - Blue, Samsung SGHU600GSM at PartStore.com
Samsung E950
Sony Ericsson S500i - Telefonai - Sony Ericsson
Basically, I just want a stylish mobile phone. With good media applications.
I do not need a smart phone.
Also, if you think you know a better phone. Please tell me.

Yeah, but the place I'm getting my phone from only has it in "contrasted copper" which I don't know if I like.

I have the Samsung SGH-U600 and it's pretty funky, at least to me, but I still love to have it!
Camera is nice but the response time to actually take the picture is pretty slow... unless mine is like buggy.
It takes some time to get used to especially with the 4 touch buttons on the screen. Sometimes when you're at a menu and just like using those buttons to navigate around you may end up closing the entire menu because they end call and accept call buttons are pretty close together. Same with when you're speaking with someone on the phone, you may accidentally hang up because of the touch-sensitive end call.
Ehh, what I say really isn't much so don't let that turn you away from the phone, should read other reviews =)
The other phones I don't know too much about haha.
Oh and the phone is pretty damn thin so if you get it, don't sit on it or sleep on it.
Well I'm reconsidering the s500i now, I read some reviews and apparently the keys break insanely fast. So I'm thinking about the E950 now.

you can check out the prices, but i can say it's pretty reasonable.. samsung's just suck when it comes to media and stuff.. SY or NOKIA my vote
It also has symbian OS 9.1, you can install many cool applications witch you can install on pc too, watch avi movies and many more

My phone was pretty cheap and I love it. It's everything I need in it. Camera, MP3 and a crazy battery life.

It cost me 280 dollars and I gotta say I'm not disappointed one bit. The glowing Rewind, Play and Forward buttons you can see on the front is heat censored buttons and they work like a charm. I also got a headset with the same features, volume and such. The only negative part about it is probably the camera. It's only a 1.3 mega pixel one, but it still cuts it for me.
If you're looking for a phone with a swiss army knife in it, GPS tracking system and WLAN then it's not a phone for you.
LG and SE are hawt.
I would go for the last phone in your list, it looks nice and the specs are good.

I just ordered the Samsung sgh-u600 black edition. Because my other just died.(Maybe not entirely an accident lol.) It looks almost as sexy as the s500i, but has a better camera battery life and durability.

The Sony Ericsson S500i looks really good, although I'm not sure about the features.
Sony Ericsson rulez i have sony ericsson k800i and its very cool nice camera 3.2 mega pixels mp3/mp4 but if you dont like so you should take or sony ericsson or nokia the best mobile !

I love it, awesome phone. Although the soft touch keys can be a little annoying.
S500i looks alrite and also looks a bit like the Nokia N81
