[PC] any good rts games out there?

any 1 know any good rts (real time strategy) games out there? that are free and not a 1 hour trial -.-
something like "The dark legions" but free...
like those medieval games where you build a empire and try to conquer new lands and what not...
cause i am so bored of mmorpg's -.-
i have googled for like 2 hours and there all p2p (pay to play)...

Well yeah most that I play you gotta buy..

I think it would be wise to say , that rts games are not the same as mmorpgs , meaning that in the latter a simple license for a game engine and money for a server are the esentials for its production.

RTS games , well "good ones" require a team of devs to develop and thus your not going to get any legalised free rts games of good depth.

My advice , find a way to get some money and buy the classics , games like the C.C series are a good start , also aoe and ofcourse war3

Well im not sure where you live , but maybe just buy from a store?

What about StarCraft and Broodwar? It's THE RTS of our time :P

I meant it's still a great game even though it's ten years old.
