Infractions

I'm wondering. What do all those numbers mean if you received infractions (displayed when you post a post).

I have /1 (1) some ppl have a number before the slash, something like: 0/2 (2)

What do these 3 numbers mean, anyone?

I think for you /1 (1) means you have 1 Infraction out of 1 Infractions received?

if its 1/1 u r banned arent u x_x?

x = The infraction which u just got
y = the total infractions

When you have 3 active infractions you get a temp ban.

I think y = active infractions and z = total infractions (excluding warnings?)...

expired / current (points)

no warnings aren't shown at all.
the expired only show a short time it seems, that part seems a bit odd to me also.

/1 (1) means you have one infraction worth one point
Most infractions are worth one point.
Three points (not nessarily three infractions) is a 7 day temp ban

But you guys are all good, and wont ever have to worry about that right :P

Already been banned for a total of 3 weeks and I have /4 (4) infractions :/

we're mods, we can see where, why and how many infractions you all have, hell I still have 2 myself.

I was banned once I think but I had no net at the time and didn't notice XD

i got one proper infraction for telling someone to stfu xD

and the other 3 are when LeeStrongs account got hax.

I got 2 !

Both from Flawz, one for "too short message" and one for replying to his infraction with some ok maybe a little harsh words.

Sometimes they abuse.. I got 3 infractions in less than 4 minutes.. Did I made it to World Record Guinness?

AND, I was not even insulting anyone.. just posting my point of view without harrassing anyone >_>

Got banned for 8 days I think. And 2 more because after 8 days my account wasn't unbanned... 2 Days after I had to contact MentaL to unban my account.

You can contact a super mod to dispute your infractions..
However seems a bit late now that you have served your ban time :P

No point, infractions cannot be removed.

Only ever got 1 "actual" infraction. Had about 7/8 more but fought all of them till the mod realized it was their mistake and apologized.

That is funny because how are we suppose to contact a super mod when someone is banned? Makes no sense at all, even when the one giving the infractions doesn't give you a second to contact anybody.

And like Rish said, They can't be removed.

I wonder why don't you (super mods) punish the section moderators for abusing their power?

He should get the powers removed or a ban just like he gave to me. >_>

Hello :bye1: it is almost year 2008 and we are free to speak all we want while not insulting anyone, but we still get infractions and our posts deleted just because the moderator have a different point of view.

That is what I don't get.

If the moderator doesn't think the same way that we do then the post gets deleted and we get the infraction :mellow:

I do believe that rule can be loopholed if the moderator is abusing their power to ban your account, if all else fails Email/MSN/Get someone else to query it.

o.O This thread is getting far - I only have 1 infraction and 1 warning.
