[Debate] RaGEZONE showing some pretty explicit ad's [Debate]

First of all,
Let me introduce myself. I am MasterBubba and I feel that these Sexually Explicit advertisements should end!
Even though I like them, they are not approiate for the forums. Even though you have to compromise when you try to fund your forums, you don't show this crap! I mean comeon, a see through bra, and string thong? Most of the RaGEZONE users are 13- 17 years old and it just isnt approiate!
If we showed these images in our avatars/ sig's I AM SURE we would get infracted.
In conclusion, if we wanted porn, we would have went to a porno site. Not RaGEZONE!

I'm okay with it, the only ads I hate, are them Party Poker ones when you first open the site.

You don't get infracted for having girls in bras or underwear in your avatar or signature. :P

Maybe I am grandfathered in but I don't see any advertisements at all, except the new TFN ones. Perhaps mental can clarify why some see ads and others don't.

As long as you can't see anything, it's not porn. It can be sexually explicit or w.e but it's not porn. Also, if it's your choice to look at it, if you don't want to look at it, then DON'T.. One more thing - I don't see any advertisements anyways, but I do see them when I'm not logged in. When you're not logged in, you get MAJOR advertisements/pop-ups. So again, that's why I click "remember me" [=

if you're using a public computer it sounds more understandable to not have "remember me" checked.

yeah I don't find it so great logging into rz to be smothered in pop-ups (if I'm on a computer with limited/no protection) and I don't find it so great to have to look to Frienz for help

however unless you really see tits, dick, and pussy in the pop-ups I suggest you not worry too much. You can donate all you want too, hell you might even help with the pop-up problem too!

Why does RZ need adds in the first place?
I mean it's a forum, go to "one.com" and you get pro hosting for no money at all.

Set up a simple PayPal button and let people donate, it would without a doubt cover all the hosting expenses...

Dont you need to be 18+ to sign a contract, therefore making the EULA worthless. Unless ofcourse you get your perants to sign up for you, then its ok. If your perants are happy to let you see the ads then theres no problem, if not its your loss :)

And its nothing loging in wont solve, if not a popup blocker.

Toby i dont think you understand how big RZ is. It needs a dedicated server alone to run, and a pretty beafy one at that!

I have AdMuncher, Adblock Plus and Firefox. I haven't seen any advertisement you said :P, although I might switch it off for the pr0n haha ^^

Just get NoScript for Firefox, then no more Ad's.

No adons for Firefox and i still see no ads.

Does not matter, mods and legends and omegas and subscribers do not see the ads anyway. They are there but hidden.

The adverts are only in the habbo section.

Jesus, it's not as if they're even worse than 12+ ones. Accept it.

MentaL can put whatever ads up that he wants, they support the site.

If you don't like them, use a popup blocker, or even don't come.

OnTopic: The ONLY ad that I hate, is the party poker ones when you first load the site, they really bug me. I just ignore the other ones.

I don't really see a lot of ads, And it's not like it's freakin Neopets or somethin, It wasnt designed especially for kids, and isn't the EULA void if a kid under 18 accepts it anyway?
If kids don't like it, They shouldn't come back, If they do, Then congratz your kid isnt gay :D
