Re: [PS3/PS2/X360]Rock Band
Saw some friends playin it, they were all shitfaced, and the d00d who was playin on the drums broke the drum petal lol. Drums are definitely the coolest part of the game.

What country is that?
There are only 3 countries that I know of that have the game and that's the US, Canada, and Mexico. Harmonix has yet to work on the EU/AU versions and they are unsure of a JP version.

Good luck on the Q1 08. As of last week they haven't started to work on outside localization and they are focusing a lot on the added content and bug patching.
Then you have to worry about hardware shortages as the hardware right now is in too high of demand and the first batch of stuff have been defective.
As for the new guitar. It's f-ing ace. I love how it feels so much better and the higher notes are just easier to use for me.

I don't get it... how hard can it be to release the game here... it's in the same freaking language...

Regional licensing for the songs. Muli-language support.
Those are the two things that need to be done. Then you have to deal with the issue of the hardware as the demand for the US alone is more then they can make.
It's not as easy as making a shit load of guitars. You also need to make the drums and mics.
So that's why it'll take some time to get there. Localizing the game wont take long but the hardware allocation will.
