It, in fact, is rocket science. So, you must do some hard calculations, divide your number by 100 and then multiply the result by the required percentage. X/100*n.

5250m as digits is

5250,000,000

So its, 5250,000,000/100 x 1? or just /100

Both. Because meh, x*1=x.

just minus 2 zeros

5250 million is 100%, so 1% is 52,5 million

Just remove 2 zero's of 5250,000,000.

Still Fucking up, Ill just ask the question

"The population of the world is inceasing at an Annual rate of 1.6%, in 1990, it was 5250Million. Calculate an estimate for the population of the world in 2010"

I got 6930M once and the other time I got 6826M.

Its a estimate, and the answer says 7200.

I did 10%, 1%, and 5% = 16% Divide that by 10 = 1.6%. Then i x that by 20, Then i added that to the 5250M,

Anyone know where Im going wrong =/? (Calculator allowed btw ;)
