The 360 is only a little bit more expensive, even though the 360 does offer a nice set of Arcade games with it, and unlike the Wii, you can go online right away with the 360 (plus it's online content is much better)
360 if you ask me. It's better than the Wii anyday. A lil more price but a whole lot of benefits if you ask me.
Uhm, ok, I guess I'll raise money to buy an xbox360, don't mind asking but can it be modded :) ? Like I did with my PS2 to work with pirated software/games
Not yet. I dont think so atleast. I did talk with this guy who modded my PS2. He did say nothing yet could be done abt the 360 or the PS3. Me waiting for them both.
The DVD drive can be firmware flashed which will allow you to play copies, however know that if you want to go online with it, that you have a huge chance you will get banned in a while.Quote:

you'll get banned by live, servers are usually run by the players and they really have no authority to ban you but they can kick you for being an asshole. microsoft however don't take kindly to their profits being altered, its unlikely you'll be able to chip any console without getting caught from now on, the manufacturers just have too much control due to the online services.
They have every right to do so, or did you forget that you agree with their terms when you register for Xbox Live?
When Microsoft detects anything that shouldn't be there, then they can ban you and let's face it, it's a fair policy, if you can't be bothered to buy the games, then why should they be bothered to give you free services? (Xbox Live Silver is very much free)
And yes you would get banned if you would go online with a original game, although it might be possible to flash it to the original firmware and that Microsoft won't detect any tempering, but once your drive is flashed, then it doesn't matter what you put in.
Ok, I understood guys, thanks, now it's just a matter of buying an xbox360 or a ps3 (lol), I digged up on them and some say xbox sucks and some say that about ps3... very different oppinions and very different point of views... Last question, can you use keyboard and mouse on the xbox? for online playing/chatting
You can use the keyboard to send messages or to msn with people, however you can't play with it or chat with people ingame, chatting ingame is all through voice.
you can get a little hookup on your controller that is a mini keyboard. its neat o-o
I would say 360, reasons for that: Better hardware, Better games and way more, and its just awesome, and It has live wii only has wifi so cant do it from cable has to be wireless which not many gamers like.
I've played wii a lot and reasons for getting would be: The mini games in games e.g Wii sports, Nintendo have experience making consoles 360's have a reputation for some being total lemons.
So for a couple of extra hundred You get a lot more.
You can try to have A PSP, i just heared a rumor that Sony is going to lower the prices of the PSP on the christmas and New Year Eve, so youshould have to try that.:SniperHea
Nah, PSP is boring, aniways I would love an xbox360 or a PS3, I have like 600$ and can get more, I also have a big LCD with HDTV I can use, surround sound, usb keyboard/mouse, and a 0,5TB External HDD I think I can use, I barely can wait :X. Just can't decide wether on PS3 or xbox360 :(. Thanks for the info guys.

PS3, quite expensive though =/. I enjoy the Wii with a group of mates, 10x then I do when I have an xbox, Alone Xbox wins :)

hope it ain't too late to throw my opinion here but here goes.
Save for the 360, most of the reasons have been posted above already but the only thing i can say is if you fancy playing online you have quite a few RZ members also with a 360 you can play with.
But I feel the PS3 engine is better than that of the 360. Dont mind me - am a hardcore Playstation fan ... :PQuote:
