[Help] about making a server

I followed the guide from sticky to set up server.
Now im stuck at the stage of connecting to my server/making an account
and a character to play.

i found how to create an account and now im going to look at the link u gave me

I can't download the client u gave there...

hmm, well I am uploading the serverfiles right now on filefront, so you will be able to download them tomorrow I hope. :)

also i wanted to explain what i don't know..
i edited the hotuk.ini and put in what sik said and changed ip as he said.
i did registry file and used it. and replaced that bmp.
now with which client do i enter the game itself and my server
is it supposed to be in the private server files or the game files?
i need to download it?
also im using mcmadness repack..

Well, you should use this game client to start your game with:
MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service (Its the 1855 game client you should put in your "xPT" folder) If you wonder how to start your server and what client you are going to start it with so is the answer: You should start your server with the "4096" do not take the "server 4096" thats a mistake. Hope it works :)

ok i downlaoded it and i extracted into my pt folder
i opened 4096.exe and it's saying 8 users 87 monsters and 72 messaged or something
now when i open game.exe in my pt folder i get an error with Xtrap....
how do i enter the server?

Man wait until tomorrow, I will upload the 1871 serverfiles tomorrow. Part 2 is already done, so check out my tomorrow and you will be able to get the right serverfiles and the right client+every thing you need.

i managed to download ur client but i get conn failed and i can't download ur serverfiles maybe try upload it to another site ..
