Problem Connecting to RZ

Hey,

i have a pal who has a private server, everytime he tries to come on RZ.com, the url re-directs him to his private server homepage...

Would anyone know a solution for this? It worked fine a few days ago...

Okay I got on to ragezone using hidemyass.com since the forum link changed from RageZone.com/forum to forum.ragezone.com when i try using it without a proxy it just redirects me to my apache server...anyone know what i can do to resolve the issue

http://forum.ragezone.com and http://www.ragezone.com/forum are the exact same thing. Odd have u tried to ping ragezone without proxies, if it pings ur local IP ur ISP blocked ragezone.

Yeah but the links link back to forum.ragezone.com so..
i have to use a proxy otherwise it redirects me back to my server :l

Open cmd and type ping ragezone.com, if it says anything different than : Answer of 200.116.34.18:
So if it gives any other ip than that one,then you're boned. Also does RaGEZONE - MMORPG and gaming forums. work?

It's saying 'reply from 127.0.0.1'

Ok, go to WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\ and open "hosts" Post the entire content of that file here.

Ohh sorted it now, removed all the crap from the host file, thanks :)
