i. Downloads

Download HommieScape Source at:
Download: hommiescape88039.rar - UploadYour.info
The extract the folder to a location of your choice (noobs extract to My Documents)

Download the teleport coords here:
Download: coords73847.txt - UploadYour.info

ii. Domains and IP

1. Go to http://www.whatismyip.org/ and find out your IP address
2. Go to FreeDNS - Free DNS - Dynamic DNS - Static DNS subdomain and domain hosting and sign up for an account.
3. Create a subdomain (noobs use it.cx) that points to your IP.

iii. Misc...


1. To create your administrator account copy the "use this for admins.txt" and rename it
whatever you wanna name your character, then open it and put your username and
password, Then go into data and add your username to "administrators" and "staff"

iiii. Running your server


1. Open compile+run.bat then choose c for compile, then when the server has compiled
and you have returned to the main menu, select r for run.
2.
a) Go to http://www.client.silabsoft.org/ and login as "your username" with
"your password" with "yourdomain.it.cx" and "your port (43594)"

b) Go to http://www.client.silabsoft.org/ and login as "your username" with
"your password" with "your hamachi IP" and "your port (43594)"

3. Have fun!

i have a question im following the instructions your telling but when i have to compile it says i need jdk 5.0 or 6.0 i been trying to find it and all the ones i down load are 1.5.0 and it wont work plz get back to me asap

Open the compile.bat with notepad and change the directory to C:\Program Files\Java\*YOUR JDK FOLDER NAME*\bin\javac.exe

And Iceking, if you can't get this, you are lower than a noob, no offense meant, and even I got this sh*t when I first joined Ragezone.

Ok i don't want to cause trouble but.. In my opinion (which everyone is entitled to) emmon is in no position to be making this tutorial which is supposed to teach you to "Creating the best server for pr0s & n00bs alike!" as somehow , i don't think emmon has ever created the best server.

Just my opinion, but i felt it had to be said.

Thanks =] and I am back. After WoodlandScape went downhill I up and left the Private Server World. But I am back, and probably will be dealing in MapleStory Private Servers now, after my friend showed me how RuneScape has changed so much since I quit RS, it's pointless for me to go back to the primitive private servers rofl.
