Just thought I'd post a topic about this very cool mod I'm playing with Civilization IV: BTS called 'Fall from Heaven II'. I played the original game a good while before it got too repetitive for me. Then I found out about this mod and I've played it ever since.

Features:

Magic Spells --> From walking on water to bombarding your enemies with fireballs.

Experience --> There are more promotions to choose from and experienced units are more valuable than in the original game

Upgrading --> Certain units can only upgrade after they get to a certain level of experience

Religions and Civilizations --> Your civilization starts off as either Good, Neutral or Evil. Your alignment affects diplomatic relations with other civilizations. Following a certain religion can change your alignment and has several benefits (including special units and buildings).

Heroes --> Special units can be built when certain prerequisites have been met (following a certain religion, researching a certain technology, etc)

Armageddon Counter --> That's right, the world's going to end and you can feel its effects in-game! Watch the world become a nice place to live in (NOT!) after the counter hits 40 (and higher)

Yesterday an update to the mod came out with a lot of new features (including 2 new religions and 2 new forms of mana). This mod is my new addiction tbh :shock:
