Visually pleasing - [PC] Crysis or [PS3] Killzone 2?
I've been having a little debate with my friend about this. I told my friend that after playing the demo of crysis, no 'real-time' cut-scene of killzone 2 could out-due it's glory. I mean if you have a computer with the chops to play it, it's 'balls-to-the-wall' when it comes to graphics. Not to mention the ai is top-notch (reminds me of fear as they run away and still manage to point their gun at you.)
Keep in mind killzone 2 probably wont come out for another year or so, so it may have a graphical over-haul, but as of right now I still think crysis looks better even in picture form compare to what killzone 2 looks like.

Crysis does take a lot of resources to run, but it is a great game. Personally, most of the time I've spent in Crysis has been with playing with the environment. Things like shooting down trees to crush the koreans or damaging a vehicle just enough to go full-speed at a building and jump out letting it run in to the building and blow up. The interactive environment in Crysis definitely gives it an edge over other games.

Well all depends on how you look at it. The average PC with Crysis vs the PS3 with Killzone 2. Then Killzone will win. Though if you take Crysis on a PC like mine then there is no question.
I wonder how well the Linux version of Crysis will look on the PS3?

d00d where are u getting your info on the linux port of crysis? Cant find anything :S
The openGL 3 specification should be out soon, maybe itll push more game developers to port games to linux/mac :)

It's pretty much what NoPeace said. Killzone will be the best, as you already have the resources to run it (assuming you have a PS3). But if you have a PC, and you get Crysis, then your computer might not have enough resources to run it pretty good.
Still, Crysis looks beast.

Well there is more then just graphics. My brother plays Crysis on a dualcore system, 2 gig memory, 7900GT etc, not exactly top notch, but enough to get some pretty good graphics, but he liked parts of Call of Duty 4 a lot more because of the design and the look and feel you get.
Obviously this ain't about CoD4 and Crysis has a lot of advantages over it, but Killzone could (never played it) give you a much better feel simply because it could have been made better, even if it's graphically inferior.

of course killzone 2 will be more affordable than crysis if you wanna jack it up. I went out of the way to buy a ton of computer parts, where as with killzone 2 all I need is the ps3, hi-def tv and the time to wait for the game to come out.

Crytek has made an announcement a few months prior to the game release that they was going to include a Linux version of the game on the disk like how they have done with FarCry. But that wasn't the case and they said it will come out in a latter date.

Can you even compare them? Crysis for sure, at least if you are looking at it from a technical only aspect. Though this does come from a person with a PC powerful enough to see the kind of atmosphere Crysis can surround you in..
