That sucks, i seen him in a few movies (no, not brokeback mountain...) and he did a good job, i pretty never guessed for him to do something like this. Makes you realise how little you know.

As for who is going to play the Joker now... the film is in post-production so all of his scenes were filmed. I don't know if the Joker was going to be in the one after that (if there was even going to be one), but its definitely gonna suck seeing someone else play the role.
Was gonna make a thread about this too. Freakin sucks. The man was awesome. Hopefully they finished up Batman so we can have yet another great movie with him. Damn, fucking celebrities cannot use drugs.
I'd never thought that heath ledger would do something like that, he seemed like a more layed back character.
