Work with no-ip on Season 3 server files !)

Iam new and noob so you can post some mean posts for me to learn being pro !)

If you have season 3 server files and want to work with no-ip on them then this is the answer :

MuServer Side :

1. Go to your MuServer files .
2. change all ips in the MuServer files to your "no-ip" address .
3. But your commonserver.cfg change all ips in it to 127.0.0.1 or your local ip .

Pc Side:

1. go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and open it with notepad++ or wat ever then change it like that:

IDK, this really helps noobs...

But think with me, someone who doesnt know the basics about what does each IP means, wont be able to setup a unique server.... idk, maybe instead of giving the fish, you should teach how to fish em up.....

I forget these small details '-.- ^^ so i dont remember if i must put the no-ip in mapserverinfo.dat too.. always give me error ^^ anyway thnx for remind me ^^

I am trying to set up a muserver season3 more I am not able to make the client to connect to the server.
I keep saying that I was disconnected.
I wonder whether what could the problem be muserver season3 and for the same customer.
What port should main.exe when edited by ExtremeMuEdit?

Huh, I always did a MuServer with no-ip's and I never went to "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts"

I never went to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts either xD

But i didnt have to either, works fine with the no-ip adress in server files only...

Hi to all ,

this is my first post so please forgive me if i make questions that for all of you are common knowlenge (and sorry for my terible English) . When you say "no-ip" what you mean ? An IP is something like this : 192.168.1.2 . No-ip is somthing like : user.domain.com ? or the characters no-ip exactly ?
