Hey, me and my bro are in need of some help:
1) are there any mapping tools for wow?? (so that you easely can place opjects)
1.b) do you need to go in database for such a program ?
2) How do you save objects that are manualy placed?? cuz when we place GO's after a reset they are all gone
3) are there any big flat building spaces where we could experiment??
4) Are there any Id's of Go's that are houses or something?

1. Not that i know of
2. All you have to do is put a 1 after the ID number EX: .go spawn 123456 1
3. Hyjal, Quel'Thalas, Northern Plaguelands, and many others. Activate fly speed and take a look
4. Yes open ur gameobjects_name table and take a look
5. I hope that you are tlaking about for ascent becasue that is all 1 - 4 will work with.
Actualy i'm only a Gm so i cant take a look at the database. and i figured the 1 after the go spawn thingy just 1 minute ago :P
I have the Gm handbook, but i cant fins loose buildings =(
Well that depends on ur server admin if he/she put in those types of GameObjects. Usually houses and such are not included. It is a separate SQL quesry that you have to run.
ok, i also tried to set up my own server but i got 2 problems:
Mysql isn't working for some reason under vista
I cant open ports so no1 will ever come .. (hamachi)
There are usually problems running on Vista i have been told to reboot ur system after a complete install of your server. Opening ports etc and all that. I personally use XP. I ran my server on VISTA once and i had an error when you opened up about ports or something. I rebooted and it worked but whent over to XP.
its not thast i cant open ports, my father just changed the password..
But the mysql is working now, needed to do it as administrator ^^
But i dont think anyone would come to a non 24/7 ham server :P
Make 182943 and have the admin go in and change the scale to like 20....That will make a big flat area
why the admin?? i can .modify scale the thingy 2 :P
