Anyways for Ford... They are a disappointment for the most part aside from the Mustangs. I myself drive a Ford Crown Vic but a '98 model. Over the last 10 years their cars have been lacking in quality.
With the Crown Vics, the '98-'00 models were ace. Solid built cars that were reliable. They switched the engines in the '01-'02 models and problems started to happen. They changed the engine design in the '03-'04 models and it got worse. Now with the '05 and latter models they went to an all electrical design and now the whole care is total shit.
And it's not just with the Crown Vics. Their other cars are full of problems. The Ford 500 was a joke. The Focus has nothing but front end problems.
It seems like they just don't give a damn about their cars no more. The only decent one left is the Mustang. Aside from that the only thing they got good is their trucks. Which are good in the 150 series but when you get into the bigger 450 and 550 series it's nothing but the same problems they've had with them in the last 20 years.
One thing is for sure. My next car will not be a Ford. It would be a Dodge. Dodge Charger that is.
