[Help][Ascent]Friends Get DCed While Their Loading[Help][READ FOR INFO]

Hey. thanks for at least reading it.

Well, i was so pissed that it took for ever to get my characters working so it actually "created" them. Got that to work, now when my friends try to play, they can login create a character, but then when they click Enter World, it loads to the end then they get disconnected. Whats up?!?

BTW ive done every sql update and nothings working. Whats goin on?

Is the maps folder with ascent.exe?

Dont quite understand what you mean.

I guess not. You have to extract your WoW maps into a folder called maps and put the folder with ascent.exe and logonserver.exe.

You don't *need* the maps folder, it just enables things like area discovery, and I think it's needed for collision.

You do however, need the DBC files.

if you dont have mpas nobody on your server will be able to get PVP flaged in Arenas and such places like Gurubashi and Nagrand , also if you dont have MAPS folder you wil lget D/C in places like shadow moon valley.,

So you do need MAPS folder

do you get D/C when you enter world , or only your friends:)?

I can get in. My friends cant.

just make sure you have maps, dbc, and that vmap stuff...

So i think im missing the maps.

Also don't forget to edit your external IP
If you can login and your friends not you probabily let your external IP to "localhost" witch is not good.
For your external ip visit Find My IP Address - Lookup

Even with my maps in my Ascent directory, I still get disconnection problems myself in Netherwing Ledge. Perhaps it's still a world problem rather than a map problem?

i know i edited it all in the spots. But when they get a sucessful login, they create a character, and click enter world. but when the bar loads all the way up it disconnects them. Which is where im confused.

Oh that error! It means your client is either not updated to the latest patch OR your Ascent/NCDB is outdated. Most likely your culprit is your Core and DB.

i have the newest db

Well something's wrong because I can connect and other can connect just fine.
