GTA (Grand Theft Auto) 4 is coming out! I have already pre-ordered in January the special edition package. Costing $165.00 AUSD...

The special edition package is a little over-excessive in my opinion! Quite a lot of money for a little metal box, bag and some book.
I assume it's going to be an incredibly awesome game. They have been making GTA for some time now and all the games so far have been a success in my eyes. Strangely enough Rockstar didn't publish a whole lot of videos of GTA4, so outside of literal information there's not a whole lot to expect.
I haven't bothered with pre-ordering my copy, and I have reasons for it, but I'll be sure to get my hands on it when it's released.
I'm also very happy GTA4 was made for the 360 as well as PS3 :p
I've been waiting for it since ages now. Just cant wait for its release. Always loved the GTA series after Vice City. :D
i think this game is going to be awesome, i'm not going to pre order but ill pop into town and see if its available on release day
I' m definately going to buy that, hope it will be a big success.
Bought every single GTA game and sure as hell will buy this one.

Pre-ordered the special edition, costs me 15 euro more then the normal version, which is imo worth it.
You guys are all so rich, I can't even afford a xbox / ps =(.
There is 1 great thing about being older and having a job and shit, and that's that you can buy all those things, there is 1 crap part about it, and that's that you have much less time to actually play the games...

Going to be pre ordering the PS3 collectors edition (I have all of the GTA games aside London 1969 on the PS platform and will keep it like that) along with FF7 Crisis Core this week. Probably tomorrow.
GTA 4 looks very promising and the Euphoria engine they are using from Lucas Arts is going to make it so interesting.
Don't know what the Euphoria engine is then take a look on YouTube for some videos. It's lifelike reactions for AI with it's environment.

Yeh it looks pritty good.. I have all the GTA'S accept for Number 2 and 3..
Force Unleashed should be amazing aswell, Euphoria combined with Havok and the other one for realistic shattering/breaking of materials.Quote:

I do hope they took a good look at Saints Row, while GTA is definetly superior, they did do a bunch of stuff right, for example with shops and buildings, but also with your cars, instead of keeping your good cars in the garage all the time because you don't want to loose them, Saints Row would just put a car back in the garage by itself once it would leave the memory, so you could just take any car you want out, and don't worry about loosing it, if i'm not mistaken you can even fix it up once it was "destroyed".
I mean that always annoyed me, finding the right cars could take a while, so once i had them i would only take them out if i was going to mess around and not save anyway, especially since most missions involved changing cars or something like that anyway.
