[MaNgOs] MSVCR71.dll problem
Hello! I followed the MaNgOs server guide featured on this website http://forum.ragezone.com/f114/mango...server-332335/ step by step and am having a little problem. When I try to run the server, it says
"This application has failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found. Re-installing this application may fix this problem."
Now I've been searching the net for a couple of hours now and I still haven't found a solution! I tried, among other proposed solutions, to install .net Framework, download the file from the internet, etc. And nothing works! Anyone knows what seems to be the problem here? Any help would be much appreciated!

I had a problem like that with MCSVCR80.dll
Make sure you have all .net frameworks installed...
By chance do you have XP Media Center?
Re: [MaNgOs] MSVCR71.dll problem
No I'm running Wndows XP Pro with service pack 2. I have gradually updated from .net framework 1.0 all the way to the newsest and I've never been able to run the server? What did you do to fix this problem?

Re: [MaNgOs] MSVCR71.dll problem
Thank you for your suggestions... but when I download the file seperately, the DOS windows starts, but then I get a windows error window pops up, saying that the program has terminated abnormally (asking if I want to send the error report, bla bla bla...). I also tried installing the runtime library (as someone suggested), but to no avail. Any other ideas? Please?
Re: [MaNgOs] MSVCR71.dll problem
i have these files included in my ascent release. please download it, and try msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll of my ascent compile... it should work :) otherwise it isn't the problem of the dll files but something else :)
Re: [MaNgOs] MSVCR71.dll problem
Err dont download just any dll
It could be compiled with keyloggers and such...
Just look up the error and it will tell you what to do...
