That's the most jumbled up information ever.
You cannot have a Pentium 4 Celeron. It's either a Pentium or it's a Celeron. As for the 517 I don't know what thats supposed to be. If your saying thats the socket type then there is no socket 517.
You may have been lucky with that pin, you never know.
hahaha wow i agree very lucky with that pin for sure, I broke a pin of a pent 4 once and that was that for the cpu lol Another time some pins were bent and my friend could'nt get the cpu back in so he slammed it in....still works just fine but an i was surprised.

i run my main computer 24/7 and yesrterday i decided to change the southbridge heatsink, the thermal compound was glue like even now removed it is sticky so sometimes having warm parts doesnt help, although no broken bits.Quote:
