I tried a good deal of different launchers for 1.04, but none seem to work properly. Can some one please point me in the right direction.

All launchers should work just fine.
A launcher is only a "shourtcut" wich runs the Main.exe with the ip and port configured...
So you should be able to use all launchers wich is made...
