A lot of mods move the topics instead of deleting them, and thus adding it to their post count. I been known to giving warnings though, mostly to people who spam the topic and don't report it.
You get a post for reporting, no need to spam the topic...
Do I? Never noticed.
You don't get it right away, but when the reports are cleared then they will be moved to a place where you get your post. That's why i have times when i jump like 30-40 posts.
Sadly, only few people report those topics. Most of them simply make some useless comment.
I simply delete the thread. If it is a Spammer Bot, than the good old spammer bot infraction works otherwise a simple warning or infraction.
