[RELEASE] My server files
Since everyones releasing their sources, i thought i will release mine aswell.
This source has fb/ss, scatter, hercules, other sklls are easy to make.
It is very simple to set it up, because it doesnt use any database programs.
The "database" is in ini files. :D
You need an older client to play on this server, for example qonquer client.
You can create accounts with the program i added in the folder, but you have to figure out yourself how to make a register page n stuff.
Oh and don't mind the XYNet server system taken from coemu. :D
Im writing a new source which uses mysql and not XYNetShit for for server system, which im not releasing. :P
Adding mobs - its easy, theres an example already, look TheDB.cs for more info about it.
I took npcs directly from coemu source, so there are most of the npcs who do nothing lol.
Note that players will not be automaticly saved if you close the server in the middle of playing.
Ok here are the server files:
Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!
Commands:

/item <"Item name"> <quality> <plus> <bless> <enchant> <gem 1> <gem 2>
(For example /item KingsClub 7 5 3 234 13 13 gives you lvl 130 super +5 2 soc(sdg x2 ) -7% bless enchanted - 234 club.)

(Fills your hp, reusable after 1 minute)

The account folder must be C:\TheCOServer\Accounts
unless you learn how to change it. :P

You have to insert right ip in the box when u start the server, better insert your internal ip.
Try your local too if you want, and hamachi ip always works for me. xD
EDIT: New link, download it again, it is even more simple to set up now, i made an extra folder for compiled version of server and now you can take the folder where ever you want. In the source folder, the accounts, characters folders and other important files have been moved to bin\Debug folder of source in case you need them.

Strange..I used the QO 4351 Client. My Ip fixed and everything. I created a character, logged in, it said "Logging in to server" etc.. then the QO Window just closes.

It seems like a rebuild of CoEmu, although i have to say nice job considering allot of servers are just coemu with Addons. You should make your new server using new clients example 4356+ which works up to 5015 at this current time. My new server built from scratch which is not based on any other servers uses new client and works wonders. Good luck with your new server.

Hi guys! Well this is a cool file cause this is the farest i ever got with a CO server :) .Anyway i set up everything and now when i try to enter it says: Connecting failed due to server maintenance or internet congestion. Please relogin later. And i cant find a way to repair it. It would be cool if you guys could help me solve this problem :)

The only thing you may be doing wrong is inserting a wrong ip.
Keep in mind that external ip you get from Find My IP Address - Lookup might not work, because some connections need ports 9958 and 5816 forwarded for server to work.
@GoldenDrago Well i thought i fixed that problem, so i dunno what is the problem. :S
@leavemealone thanks, but there really isn't any problem with the source being similiar to coemu, it may even be a good thing because most of the people are used to coemu. :P What counts is how well the server is written, though i wouldn't say it is that well written, its 3x better to understand, but maybe only a little faster if it is faster at all. And yes, i am going to write the new server for new client. :)

The files were a bit messy and confusing in th file i uploaded so download it again, it is more understandable now :D

I still getting problems, my client freezes when i try to log in...
I dont know what to do..
I used 127.0.0.1 as IP, but also used my internal/external/localhost.
Got the problem with all of them, anyone knows a solution?

What the hell is going on? I have absolutely no problem with setting it up, i tested it myself, dowloaded it, created account in source\bin\debug and ran the server, then ran the client with using same ip as i ran the server with, no problem logging, created character, logged, played. And exacly same with compiled version. Is it really because most of you use the crappy vista? Or don't you have .Net Framework 2.0 or higher ?

Lol, first open Compiled\ Account Creator and create an account, then find out your ip address you can use, run the server and run the server with that ip, add a server using that ip into Server.dat in Conquer folder, then run the client and login. :D
I haven't decrypted/encrypted any login passwords, so the password you enter first, will be the password for your account permanently.
Oh and im coding the second source for only myself and that server is not going to be a pvp type server, so im not releasing it and that means you dont have to suggest things like that. Btw if you change your job or level in this source i released, your stats change according to your job and level.

I cant do everything for you, the server name is not important, name it whatever you want. Download qonquer client and you should know how to add a new server into Server.dat .

You should first make it get the packet in packet handler, then u can make a new file as i would do which contains the void for talking with npcs, of course you can make the void in Character.cs but it is full already. :D
I havent implemented anything for npcs except for their spawning, so you have to code everything yourself, which for me at least is very easy.
Oh and if you're using vista, rebuild the source and run the server from bin\Debug.

First off this server is amazing! First one I could actually make good job Hadeset. All the commands work for me except /prof and I was hoping you may be able to help me out. When I do for example /prof bow 20, which should give me bow prof 20, however, it gives me boxing 20. So I was wondering if there was a number you had to put in, or if bow is spelt differently or something wacky.
Also, it there a way to give skills and/or buy?

I have a question, for the /prof skill do you need to use /prof bow 20 or /prof 500(I think this is the number for bow) 20... I have tried just about everything I can think of including those.

for the /prof make sure its case senseitive mae it /prof Bow 20 gotta have the capital B.

First you just have to make packets for sending the dialog, then links and finishing.
Then make a file for dialogs, which uses those packets, and use that file when npc talking request comes.

@th3format: You don't need to run any second thing, just run the server and login, if you have problems with this, then i don't know what your cpu is missing, do you use vista?

i got everything working but the servers still buggy tho.. some npcs can talk to but some cant plus i dont know how to add mobs or spawn mobs... can someone make a server with all stuff working? like global ones that has mobs and npcs working would be great.... thanks for the servers but.. too much work hehe

@john007 No one would probably release a server if it was that complete as you would wish.
Those sources that are released, they are more like for learning(they are much use for me :P) or if you really want, you can upgrade them and go public, but i wouldn't advise that. So if you want a full working source, wait some more years, maybe someone would actually release one. :)

I use "crappy vista" and it works. Vista kicks XP's ass, so fuck you.

How would I go about making the Spawned Npcs say Hi and stuff like that so they give you out items its said to be easy, I done it once on the CoEmu source (I think) and was pretty proud of myself but thats because there was a code there and I copied the layout and changed the words/Items given out...Anyways back on topic If I were to mess around would i have to make a class file called NPCdialog.cs and put the npc dialogs there. I appreciate any help given and Wonderful source hades great job =D
@ Arrows Work by Manually equipping them dont just right click them in inventory drop and drag them onto your charachter equips page. (Dont Know if thats been said..)

Arrows aren't declared as equipment when just right clicked on, when you right click on an item in client, it sends a packet to server which contains a value of where to equip the item, 0 means using the item, 1-9 is equiping slots, when using arrows, the value is 0, so, there has to be some extra things done, which are easy, but i'm not doing it.
Oh and with any implementation you need to first handle the packet in PacketHandler.cs, then make for example NpcDialog.cs into ClientRequests folder and using other files in ClientRequests folder as example, you can make the file easy. Just use help from other source to declare the npc id talked to and add npc dialog packets into Packets.cs.
Remember that packet id 2031 is requesting npc to talk and 2032 is when you choose and answer to npc that you are talking to.

Is there a place you go to, to find out each packet id and such? Like spell numbers, PK packets to make the characters name blink or even get monsters to move?
There should be a tutorial for programming this in C#...

Dunno wtf but i started Server Pasted in My ip its 192.***.0.185 Made an account I have Accounts Folder in C:\TheCOServer\Accounts And still it Wont Let me In i Rebuilded That Nathin ... Any advices and btw i use crappy vista but reinstallin it soon back 2 xp Server Starts up succesfully The All thing goes wrong is that it wont let me in sayys connection to the bla bla bla .... Its fucked man i dun mean source i mean that i always haves issues with sources x.x

Password will be declared when you first login, yes.
The rest of the things you said don't have anything to do with my server.
With that ip thing.. well... i HATE messing with ips. xD
You can change the server name SO easily in Server.dat, if you are already there, just change the name Qonquer to whatever you like, and display name also.

Thanks! Ok i'll will add you. Though my server files aren't that good. Only good for making pvp. You could remove some shit i have there and make npcs to talk etc and it could become a good pvp server. Just a little problem would be making the register page.

I like your work b cuz:
1.Isnt need MySQL,PGAdmin or whatever.
2.Mob's can be spawned very easy.
3.Command /item is working perfect
4.Easy to start/stop the server
5.NO LAG i have tested the srv with 30 other friends and i have NO LAG.
6.Skills work VERY NICE.

@elragal_30 - You are behind a firewall of some sort. Disable all firewalls, including if your modem has a built in one. The firewall routes your IP to a 192.168.xx.xx number.
@hadeset - Thank you for this, learning a lot from it. ;)
