Logging into game serverPROBLEM
Hello all.
I have searched a lto now!
and havent found the solutioin to my problem
cant connect to my server. getting loggin to game server and then it show my realm lista gain..
ewade.dyndns.dk is website (dns) :D
192.168.1.3 is local IP
62.242.121.103 is the srver ip. well its a temp server only until it work :D
i post my configs. and then can someon tell me why its not working..

Character database should be "character" by default.
Second you put the realm1 and realm2 with SAME PORT. change one
BTW if you put 2 different realms that's mean your buddies connects to your server but you won't able to play with them because you simple on the "Test Realm"..

Try this, if it doesn't work see if there's any error report on console.. BTW One thing, remember to delete your WoW Client caches. In my experience, cache can cause problem when i setup newer ascent server.

Arg, remove all IPs on your client computer hosts file. And on your WoW clien WTF file put your LAN IP to that host computer

Ok last resort, try run your wow client on your server with 127.0.0.1 on wtf, if it works than is your LAN configuration problem. If doesn't, is either AV or the server core problem.

the server cant run wow.. (bad graphic card, so cant run it on server. but had the same compl,ied exe working on the first machine. 100% perfect)

Atleast tell us the version, the currently compatible is 5.0.54
On 4th question, you need to enable error report on the conf file to make it show error, its disabled by default.

yeah mysql 5.0 is needed.
.net framework won't come up in the windows update list. you have to download it manually from the microsoft site.

Np for login server but see there's (3) on Realmlist, that can be the problem. The server think there's 3 but there's only 1.
EDIT: Wait.. that maybe is not the problem. But is something i aware of on my server.

alright then, just try update te core, if it doesn't work you'll need to check your network, i'd recommand you use the default "character" table set than your own custom "accounts" for debugging this time.
EDIT: Did you update the characterDB sql set agian? Make sure you reinstall the latest character sql agian, it may appears as 2.3.3 but just got updated today.

Well, we've tried to locate the problem that is where about on those regions.. But looks like nothing works.. How strange.. If that's my case i would delete everything and startover agian.. just wait for couple hours maybe someone might know the solution.

i just wna comment something to the hosts file.
basically it is nonsense, you NORMALY do not need to edit it, and once you do, it has caused problems. basically always try without changing it, and if it does not work, then change it.
i have never needed to change it, and ppl who i helped have also never used it.

I had that error too. did you do SQL updates? cuz that fixed it for me. the character-character.sql file should fix this error

and working.
now i jsut have to get it working on the internet.

someone just changed the modem without telling me sso basicly i was using static 192.168.1.56 doesnt work as the new one is start with 10.1.1.6, took me long enough to figure they changed it so im back on auto IP

I'll just need to port forward than should be ok to host a roll-play server :) I need to make sure i learned to make it WAN as well. I'm very concerning about to open 3306, and will list the required ports for server core only.
