I never liked doing homework at all. But in my primary school all i had to learn was my ABC and add numbers. Wasn't that stressful.
Never did homework in primary, never got it
Never did homework in high school, always got it.
students learn enough in school, doing enough work in school (quizes, assessment, major test, activity, etc).
so yeah, never really like homework.
I'm out of grade school, and in college. But still, that is even WORSE. At least 6 hours of homework every night, and at least 1 test a day. Still, in 3 years, I hope Law School will be worth it.

Yes! Finally! I totally agree. Ban homework not only in primary schools but in all schools because its a fuc*kin waste of time. More than half the student population would do BETTER without homework, since even though they get the topics, they dont do their homework which brings them down.
homework reinforces what the students learn at school to make sure they understood it. No it should never be banned or removed, but it should be significantly reduced.
Agreed, although I don't do it, its still required or atleast helpful to properly understand and review certain aspects which you don't understand in your own time. However, not only should it be reduced but it should also decrease the amount of impact it causes on your grade. But, it is still helpful.Quote:

Homework is part of studying. Without studying and no effort put into schooling, you might as well just not bother wasting your parents resources, and just drop out.
And how is primary homework stressful and creates anxiety? So you'd rather have the kid spend more time infront of the TV and not take 30 minutes away from that to do some simple tasks?
I say, Hell yeah ban the homework!
Don't give homework, make the classes smaller (Here it's about 40 kids per class... its quite a lot), raise the teachers' salaries (They get paid very little here in Israel) so that this profession will attract more and better people, and I believe everything will be just fine.
They have such conditions in a private school that my friend goes to, and thanks to this system, his grades got waaaay higher.
to be honest i think homework is a good idea, but only in classes where it takes more than just school to learn all of the material, get my drift?
