[Help] i can see the Server but i friends can't,What must i excatly do? [With Pic]

Hii there, im new in this and i just setup a Pserver for me and my friends, everything was fine , but when i sent my firends the client, they could't see the server . Here's What they See

Try Configure your client whit local IP (ONLY YOUR CLIENT)
(local ip: 127.0.0.1)

uhh can someone give me step by step on how to fix this :'(

ok :
every computer has a diffrent IP. but every computer also had an Loop IP thats: 127.0.01
if your client is set to connect to 127.0.0.1 (witch is the case with kekeku's server files, dunno if you used that one) it will try to connect to his own computer.

for you this wil work, because the server IS hosted on YOUR computer.
but your friends client wil try to connect to himself to. and that WONT work.

so you need to change ALL the IP's where it says 127.0.0.1 to your ip.

got to www.WatIsMijnIP.nl -> 208.116.34.18 (its dutch site google for english one)
and get your IP. then change the ip's to yours. i dont know all but here are some places you need to change the ip:


server:

in the locator map open locator.ini and youl see this:

Client:
unpack your system.mrs and i dunno witch .xml file you need but 1 of them also tells the lauccher to connect A IP. and it will say 127.0.0.1 and you need to change that to your ip to.


i never got this to work myself eather (only tryd 1 without help) i am going to try again today.
if i made a misstake or forgot something please sum1 correct me (A)

Or do you know how to 'Unpack' the Woman Mrs? im not sure on how to 'Unpack' things

use this program:
RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting

put the .mrs in the same map as this program. then select witch .mrs you are unpacking. and pres unpack. you then have a map and it is unpacked..
change what you want. and then press the pakc button.

iam having thesame problem like shelvinlfc i port forwarded 7700tcp to 7800 and then 7700 udp to 7800 am i right ?

well your ports need to be open.. but if your client is trying to connect to 127.0.0.1 it wont work for yuor frind. if you opend your ports or not.

how do i know my ports are open ?
