wha? only Nazis in denial would think that
My brother was gifted with a toy airplane for his birthday gift, many moons ago. I remember going to the store and asking my mother to buy me that same airplane few days ago. Seeing my brother get the airplane got me furious. Before he even got a chance to play with it, I stole it. My mom knew that I was the culprit yet I denied even knowing about the existence of the airplane. Denial is everywhere and we fight with it everyday.
I provided the example above so I can explain why people deny the most horrible crime ever committed in the whole history of the world. Denying Holocaust is not history, it's fraud. Many deniers have one thing in common; hate. They are antisemitism. For those of you out there who don't know what antisemitism means, it is the prejudice, discrimination or persecution against Jews. Antisemitism goes back before Christian times. The crimes committed by the Nazis is a form of a Racial Antisemitism, which is justified on race not on religion backgrounds. They must have taught you in school how the State of Israel was created? It was created as a home for the survivors. Ever since its creation, it has been in conflict with several Middle Eastern nations. Everyone needs a scapegoat, by denying that holocaust ever happened, deniers get a feeling of satisfaction.
The Answer: This page explains the answer behind the denial in four short ways, defintion, the number, the plan, and the method.
You are kidding yourself if you think that is the worst crime ever committed. Personally I'd say the creation of religion is a far worse crime the amount of deaths it has caused and also the progress in science and technology it has halted (resulting is more deaths!). Also FYI it wasn't just jews who were killed, it was everyone who was different. Or did all the gays/handicap people deserve death, or maybe we just care more about the jews?
Frankly all history is written by the victors, and as such should be taken with a pinch of salt. Sure loads of people died in gas chambers, but I'd say that was a pretty fast and painless death. What about all the people who die on the battle field from gun shots wounds/disease etc, they were no doubt in far more pain.
All death should be mourned, not just because they were part of a religious cult. Also in the end the jewish faith survived anyway. Too much is put on the negative aspect of wars, it did some good as well. If WW2 didn't happen I for one wouldn't exist (my gran is German and met my grandpa when he escaped from a PoW camp, she and her family hid him) and I bet many of you would also not exist either. Hell America would have probably collapsed in the great depression if the war didn't bring them out of it (pearl harbour was staged imo)
Why people would deny it makes no sense to me, what would anyone have to gain from it not happening? Hell it happened a long time ago now so there is nothing that can be done about it.
I think people should stop holding it against the Germans, very few people were responsible and the rest just went with the flow. How many of you would now commit genocide on the middle east just because we have basically been told they are all evil and the cause of all our problems. I bet it was even worse for the Germans back then as they didn't have the internet to discuss things with people from different backgrounds. Should the entire American/British populations be blamed for the wars or just the people behind them.
The Holocaust deniers dont deny it. They deny the facts that are presented to them. That gay president of Iran (his name is too long to spell) said that about 200,000 jews were killed in the holocaust and that there were only like 3 ghettos.
The fact that Aucshwitz alone held like a million prisoners should be enough to shut these people up, but they dont believe it.
Btw, this is I Rule MU.
Offtopic:
I Rule MU, were you banned? If so, you're new acc will get terminated too..

My grandfathers' father fought in WWII, he did the 'underground' thing, held jews secret, did paratrooper attacks, faked ID. Cards, etc.
I find it horrible that people deny it, but deep down, they KNOW it was there.
Likely but not definitely. Really it depends on why he was banned and how bothered the super is about it.Quote:

It looks like nopeace going on a mass ban spree so I doubt anyone would re-ban him as it wasn't called for in the first place.
Yeah, people should watch Die welle or just The wave if you prefer English. If you want an explanation about how Hitler could make so many people follow him.
Anyway, I think people deny it because they don't want to live with the thought that they're religion/believe did something so horrible.
He got a free ban from NoPeace, he didn't do anything wrong  Just like me =p
I agree with Robert though. Far more awful things have happened then all those Jews getting murdered during the 2nd World War. It's just the idea behind it that infuriates people. We've always known war, so casualties of war aren't that big of a deal to people anymore.
I don't think that the creation of religion was a worse crime. When people killed for they're religion, it was random. In the holocaust, the Nazis killed all of those people (Jews, handicapped people, homosexuals, Gypsies, etc) in a systematic method. They created a huge mechanism intended to simply kill as many of these 'different' people, as quickly as they could, and as many as they could. It's different from religion, and in my opinion, worse by far.Quote:

As for the deniers, well, what's interesting about them is that they're all anti-antisemitic, racists, Neo-Nazis, and probably Nazis in hiding and descendants of Nazis. I don't think it's a coincidence.
to say the holocaust never happened is preposterous
however there is a lot of evidence saying not nearly as many jews were killed as reported and the gas chambers etc were not capable of taking as many people as claimed
either way, it still happened
religion is a wonderful thing, the abuse of religion or using religion as an excuse is what you are refering to mate
Atomic bomb was created in order of self-defence, but however i would not call it a wonderful thing.
People are that kind that they could abuse everything, almost all they can use a weapon or purpose to kill/attack.
This statments could a long debate, a river one. If it wasn't invented the things wouldn happen, but if it wouldn invented we couldn get the benefits we are getting and if nothing was invented what would we have now ? A constant stone age?
It cannot be stated only one way.
denying holocaust? and what with people who lost their families? i think they can tell some truth about it... not only Jews were annihilated there.
at that site it was said that "there were no nazi gas chambers" and what do people see when they go to Auschwitz? some wiseheads checked the walls in these buildings and there were remainings of cyclone B all over the place, so what the hell they were doing there?
there are too many facts to dany it...
I don't see how you can deny it. Millions of people died, their families still live, heck I believe there's still living survivors. Its absolutely moronic to deny it happened.
