Like when you got into the game,
it says ascent blah blah blah

Is it possible to change it,

I think he means when you first log in, you have:
<MotD>
Server: Ascent <ver><rev> <website>
Online Players # Peak # Accepted Connections #


I think he wants to know if that can be changed.

I know the MotD can be changed in the conf. The rest would have to probably be done in the source.

look in the ascent.config file or use the gm command

The message you are referring to is part of the core code and would require editing to change it. You can turn it on/off through config files but cannot change it.
