[Wii] I think Im having a problem with my wii

For some reason the rim around where you put your disc in, it's blinking :S so I thought maybe my Wii was on, I went over and it shows a orange light. So it wasnt on, so I turn it on and off and take out the disc and its blinking again? Anyone know why?
