[Ascent] 2.4 Patch help

Blizzard patched 2.4 and it appears to have messed my server up for those who have already patched to 2.4. They are all getting stuck at hand shaking.
Any ways to get around this besides having them depatch, because from what I understand its a pain to do that.

dude ascent does NOT support 2.4.0 atm only wowscape server does :P cause burlex made ascent for 2.4.0 patch but only for a PRvate release :P

Hmm so looks like having those who already upgraded downgrade.

If you patched to 2.4 run the repair.exe and patch to 2.3.x and done. wait untill it is release, and really, if more ppl annoy him i could imagine him not wanting to release it.

I know on my computer there was a background downloader that downloaded the patch on its own, and that's probably what happened to everyone else running private servers, so fuck you.

WoWScape has it cos Burlex works with them and runs their server.

Course he will have it on his own server.

Can't, tried that.
They added a new thing, that goes straight from 2.0.0 to 2.4.0
After 2 hours of searching, I found no patch for 2.0.0-2.x.x [anything]


Also, Burlex will still not release 2.4 support after it is near perfect, just to make wowscape "Better". Check WoWscape SVN log for the more then 124 IMPORTANT fixes he has made...even before 2.4.0. Remember when they released patch support even with those crashes? They stopped doing that to make wowscape better

Ascent Will Be Releasing 2.4 Soon!

I have a repack that I downloaded for ascent and it is for 2.4.0... even though 2.4.1 just came out this works with 2.4.0 if you guys want it... email me at darklink701@msn.com
and i will give it to you. all you need to do is copy all of the files in the repack folder that match the ones in your server folder. then you delete all of the old files that match the new ones, then paste the new ones in your server folder and your set.

release it on Ragezone forums :S why on msn just upload it to
rapidshare or filefront :S and release it...

THERE is not 2.4 released to the public if any one tells you all you have to do is change the max clients its bull the reasion its not out yet is because of the new instances that have to be added to .mysql data
