I gave up making a server a few days ago cause no matter what I did or what one I used (mangos and ascent) I had a ping of 10k when I was conected to it.
I had all the ports open that I needed to and followed the guides step by step.
Any advice on what could be wrong or a good repack to use. (Blizzlike).
hm... well the ping is a problem with yourself / server and not with the compile / repack.
so i duno what to tell you, try some out, doesnt matter which one just to see if it worked out.

make sure you have nothing running on the server or on your computer that uses the internet other than the need things such as server progs and the client also if your behind a router how many other computers are using the internet
