It has come to my attention some people have still yet to see both of these great masterpieces. Frankly they are the greatest sci-fi ever created and even if you aren't into that type of show they have redefined the genre to the point of being meta-sci-fi. Seriously everyone should see this series/film.
In honour of Firefly I shall even change my avatar!
I have not seen Serenity, but Firefly is amazing. Many people consider one of the best sci-fi series. I guess I should check out serenity as it is a continuation.
Jewel Staite played in Firefly, didn't she? I know her from SGA...I might have to check those 2 sci-fi series out.

Yes, she also played that female wraith in one SGA ep (the one where carson gave her the retro-virus and it messed her up even more) But yes she currently plays Dr Keller in SGA.Quote:

I never saw Firefly but watched Serenity a while ago and was surprised at how good it actually was. Despite not seeing the series first they managed to make it really "newbie" friendly.
I don't really keep myself busy watching alot of series, but if you really like it that much, maybe I'll chjeck it uot.

i remember watching these and it made my life one of the few best days living.
its a awsome story with great characters which my fav is jean hes awsome.
i got the whole serise and movie right here and still watch from randomly from time to time. got to say if in my opinion i would watch this over heroes and lost any day...
seriously didnt understand y they stop production as the serise it still loved today with lods of fans. (i am one of em)
sadly i know they wont continue with it mainly cos of what they did in Serenity @ the end :( "i am a leaf watch me soar" <--- i cried (if u dont know what that means watch the movie)
I have not yet seen Firefly.
But serenity was crap imo.
heroes and lost are washed out and being milked to the last drop ...
when heroes began it captured my attention like nothing else but now... how long can a bad guy survive for ?? its like a cartoon hes undying
