[360] What would you recommend?

Hey all,

Ever since the 360 came out I've wanted one but always found a reason to talk myself out of it or just not had the cash. Now I've decided I'm definitly going to be getting one but I'm having a dilemma, what games?

Currently I have 4 games which for me are high on the list:

GoW
Halo 3
CoD 4
Assassins Creed

I've never really been big on consoles but I think it's definitly time to treat myself, so what games would you guys recommend?

Being able to play it on XBL would be ideal as I am more into the multiplayer aspects of games, but I'm open to all suggestions.

I would suggest to take a look at Condemned 2. Are you an RPG fan? I haven't played LostOdyssey yet but it seems to be good. GuitarHero 3 can be a lot of fun, is you like those kind of games. I hope that helped you a bit.

Actually was just looking at a bundle that comes with Halo 3 & Lost Odyssey and it does look rather interesting just abit worried about it becoming boring with the repetetive game play.

If you like repetitive killing then Dead Rising is a good game. Need for speed pro street is alright. Another is NHL 08, and Mass affect.

Bioshock is the way to go. Immense graphics, brilliant gameplay and the whole setting of it is genius.

Thanks for the posts, Bioshock was a game I was gonna get on PC but I couldn't run it at a decent setting so I didn't bother. I'll definitly look into that.

Bioshock, Mass Effect, Halo 3, The Orange Box. 4 of my all time favorite games.

Saints Row is pretty decent, maybe invest in that and give it a whack?

Burnout Paradise is a decent arcade racer
Forza2/Test Drive are decent more realistic racers.

Probably best go with RSV2, seeing as it's basically RSV1 but with a few snap upgrades and it saves you wasting money on the older version o.O

Personally, I'd go with CoD 4 - it pwns.

Assassins creed,
Smackdown vs raw 2007,
Call of duty 4,
Crackdown,
Oblivion,
Tomclancys splinter cell double agent,
Flatout ultimate carnage,
Halo 3.

Kinda happy as it comes with some games I wanted, Bioshock is looking awesome aswell.

That's true, but there are some aspects of vegas 1 I prefer.

I'm personally biding my time for fable 2 i just want that so bad

Too many big releases coming up this year, GTA4, Fable2, Fallout3, MGS4, and FF13.....

and all i want from that list is fable 2 :P

Yeah everyone has posted great games, but you should really wait...4th quarter this year is going to be huge for the 360.

Umm.... GTA IV which comes out on the 29th! Other then that try this list:

Oblivion
Ace Combat 6
Bio Shock
Forza 2
Rock Band (if you are in NA)
Bioshock
Rainbow Six Vegas

All of them are amazing games.
