An idea I had - The Moderator Personality Quiz!

This test is free for everyone to take, mod or not-mod.

This is an idea I've had for a little while now. Anyways, I think it's pretty cool and I'm glad I did it. This is nowhere near perfect yet, but we can perfect it as we go along. Anyways, I'm just curious what everyones' results will be.

This quiz asks you questions about how you moderate/would moderate the forum, then assesses whether you would be on the Left (Neutralist) or the Right (Elitist) side of the spectrum. Post your results here! :P

7% Very Neutralist
40% Neutralist
15% Centralist
35% Elitist
3% Very Elitist

Interesting Trends:
- The number of Elitist testers and the number of Neutralist testers are split almost completely down the middle. On average, 40% are Elitist, 40% are Neutralist, and 20% are Centralist.
- Of the moderators surveyed, the Elitist and Neutralist count has been split almost perfectly down the middle with a few Centralists in-between. The moderating team also follows the 40%-40%-20% ratio.
- Of the super moderators tested, they are at a perfect 20%-20%-20% balance. Once NoPeace hasn't tested; we will see which direction the super staff team tilts according to the test. It would be very surprising if it tilted any of the three ways!
- All ex-supermoderator testers have tested as Elitists.
- Only one member of the staff has tested as one of the extremes (Very Elitist/Very Neutralist).

I don't know about that. Some rough roleplay sex can definitely hurt.

My Result: Neutralist

You hold many of the core neutralist beliefs. You are very much so against a small staff and believe that too much power should not be in the hands of few. You rarely get involved in staff conflicts because you believe it is in your best interest not to. You also believe the rules should be adapted for a situation-by-situation basis, and should not be used as total concrete law.

I'm sure you can handle it.

Centralist is actually quite a good description, fairly open minded about most topics, but if I get messed around I'll hold my ground.

You are a very to-the-point moderator. You don't take crap from anyone. You are on the forum to do a job - to keep it running smoothly - and you do it well. You do not understand why the Neutralists disagree with you so often, and many times you probably ignore them. Well it appears I'm an elitist based on the test, but I don't see any of those tags very fitting for me. I'm a definite elitist IRL, though. I'm laid back but I have a tendency to take my views as the only right, which they most often are, too, obviously. :icon6:

Well some of them are a little to easy for everyone, for example: A spammer has started spamming the entire board with advertisements to his competing forum. How do you respond?
The first 2 are just lame, and the rest just depends on the access, there is no doubt about it that a advertiser should stick around. As for perm banning or deleting, i think that doesn't really matter, either way the user can't use that account again.
