The outer egdes would have to expand and then decrease quickly,
and also form a cube inside the middle O.o

What you see here is a cube inside another cube, with diagonal sticks attached.
The inner cube unfolds into the outer cube, and the outer cube unfolds into the inner cube. (which isn't possible because the sticks need to adjust in size.)
No 4D involved in here.

I tend to think of the 4th dimension as being time. Really it depends on your definition, if dimensions have to be spatial or not therefore making time the 0th dimension. If you take time to be the 4th them all games are 4D, otherwise they would be 3D pictures. If you mean 4D from a spatial point of view then I doubt it will happen. It's already complicated viewing a hypercube in 4D let alone playing a game in it.

The tesseract is just like a doh nut from what I see, it rolls up into itself. I think it's because they made it a shape with straight lines it looks so much more complicated.
