Hey, I was just wanting to know if SimCity Societies is worth the
Im sorry to say but I haven't got it and couldn't make a good opinion but I will try.I have heard that SimCity is good and if you liked the previous one and have been looking for this one then why don't you buy it? SimCity is a very good idea and if I had the money and time then I may buy it but I won't just now.So anyways, go for it!!

my gf was playing it and from what i saw - camera angles are crap and controls of the camera are dreadful - there is practically no zoom out so you cant see your city in glory mode ;)
Zero Punctuation is awesome :), simcity always looked a bit boring to me...
You like the Sim City games? If so then stay way from it. It doesn't deserve the name of Sim City.
Instead of building up a city, managing it, and watching it grow you do something completely different. You buy each individual building and place it. Then you need to try to make the city look pretty to make your people happy.
Nothing like the past Sim City games at all. It's like they strangled it and ripped its heart out and then took a big fat shit on the dead body's face. That is how bad it is.
Also don't even count on your computer running it well. Even at mid settings it runs like shit on my PC and on max settings I'm lucky to get 5 fps.

I played it for about 30 minutes and had to shut down my laptop via the emergency button... I couldn't take that game anymore :P

nah sim city games are cool but indeed Societies gets boring after 30 min the controls suck like hell its just one big mess that game...dont waist your $$ m8
Thats one reason I want the game, I like all the designing stuff and that, I like to design buildings. But if things like making the city more beautiful for the inhabitants and if it's really that bad, then thanks for the heads up. I did buy the CD from Morrisons but we had to take it back.... twice. Both CDs were faulty. I never got a 3rd disc, I just got my money back. EA can't even make working discs o.oQuote:
