[PS3] GTA IV, Are You Going To Import?

Rockstar has produced an edited version of Grand Theft Auto IV for Australia in order to obtain an MA15+ rating.
The Office of Film and Literature Classification awarded the game an MA15+ rating on December 11 last year, advising consumers that the game contains "strong violence, strong coarse language, drug and sexual references".
A Rockstar spokesperson confirmed to Screen Play yesterday that the company had produced a special version of GTA IV to comply with the Australian classification system, which does not currently contain an R18+ rating, but declined to reveal what material had been cut.
The game has been rated R18+ by the British Board of Film Classification, New Zealand's OFLC and the German Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle. It has been rated M17+ by the Entertainment Software Rating board in North America.
Many of you Aussie gamers probably heard of this already, so what are you going to do, Import? or purchase the game from a local store.

No, the AU version of GTA IV is edited. They did that to avoid it being banned like how the Manhunt game was.
As for what was edited, who knows. Probably some sex scenes were removed or something. Since you know how much like like to put sex in the GTA games.
As for me, I'm getting the US version as well I do live in the states. :1:
I can't wait till the 28th. Probably going to line up after my night classes to get it.

They probably banned it for some "naughty" talk from some prostitutes, as that's far worse then the constant killing of people...

Ugh, do not get me started on that as I could rant about it for hours.
If I were in AU, I'd probably wait to find out what exactly was taken out. I mean it may have been something that really isn't that significant. If it's a sex scene, or some strong language, I don't think I'd mind enough to go through the hassle and extra money.

Yeah but the UK & US have way stricter guidelines AU, I watched "Under Belly", which is a crime show and it had a full sex scene with tits, ass, body and everything and it wasn't blurred out and every second word was "F*** this" and "F*** that", I just don't know how they could show that and not some animated gameplay.
