KPT 1855 Client

Can anyone give me the link for KPT 1855 client? i need it for XPT serverfiles to go into game. And HOW TO GO INTO GAME???

First i open the 4096 thingy(to online the server?)
Then i clicked the registry that i created and ok and ok.
Then go into game, cannot start.

And about the Idata thingy, when i put into Image folder, it did replace anything.

Help pls

Its the guide at fault, it explains everything TOO clearly until they forgot to tell us HOW TO ON THE SERVER GOT GET INTO IT

Calm down. Don't double post. All of your questions technically have been answered by the sticky threads, but I'll help ya a bit. Technically, you do NOT need 1855. In fact, it would be better to go with something newer--

The above is a link to the Korean PristonTale "Test" client. Use a download manager on it though, as it's pretty slow. Once you install it, run the updater. When it's done updating, a message box will popup saying so.

The above is a link to a game.exe by Nickette. It has xtrap removed, as well as many translations. Add that exe to your KPT client.

The above is the Fusion Repack by Superman. It's in two parts. Download both, then extract.

The above is pretty much a patch for the Fusion Repack. It technically isn't a patch (as it was released as a repack itself), but it doesn't really matter. Drag all the files over to your Fusion Repack.

The above are a copy of the "Monster files". Make a backup of your old monster files, then replace your old ones (this fixes some glitches that can be caused).

I can't explain more clearly than that unfortunately. His client/server setup guide was flawless. It doesn't mention SQL.dll, but looking at posts around here helps with that in itself. On a misc note: there are a lot of issues that can occur that make the setup process much harder. For example, ODBC sometimes doesn't work like it should (some people must use nt auth more instead of mixed mode (sql auth), ports get blocked, SQL.dll disagrees with your database, etc. I've personally experienced so many random issues that I went nuts for a little bit.

There was a video posted here by xinos some time ago that had a step-by-step setup of the server. You can use the search function to find it if it's still available.

Edit: I forgot to mention something -- you're going to manually have to create your ptReg.rgx file (if I recall). You can do so by making a notepad.txt and just renaming it, then look for a ptReg.rgx that's been posted here.

i'm done with doing pt servers, its too hard and the guides dont even get to the point, its like a FAQ server setup guide. I SUGGEST that a owner of a pt server, upload his server files and release it to us, and everything is done just need to read the readme given in the server file,

Did you even look at SiK's guide though? It has a FAQ part, but a step-by-step too. I don't understand why you're having so many issues.

I guess 5 can be confusing since this is an old guide and most of those server download links don't work anymore. My post should have solved that one for ya though. The Fusion Repack has all the files you need. Also, the repack includes the PT SQL files from #6. ALSO, #7 is, as stated, completely optional. You do NOT need clan files.

The rest of his guide gets even easier. He literally even posted pictures of what to do. You could go ahead and use the search function to find a video by xinos...but if you can't install using this guide, then I don't know how successful you'll be doing anything on your server.

If using the video in conjunction with the guide doesn't help you, then nothing will :\ What I'd like to note though is that the download links used in the video may not be the same now (i.e. downloading of a file from the RTF thread). Ok i'll try again, i hope this works and btw, when i put the bmp file(which is said in the Sik guide that use a notepad to make a bmp file and what should i rename it to?) into the image folder, it did not replace anything, and the registry made by notepad should rename it as what?

If you're using the KPT test client, what you should do is first update it. The updater doesn't really show anything if I recall. In fact, I think it hides in the background. When it's done updating, it'll popup a messagebox, then disappear (or crash). Afterward, run their game launcher and open Priston Tale. Once Priston Tale is loaded, exit it. From then on, do NOT run their game launcher anymore. Running it once will do one thing for you -- and that's spawn the files you need.

That ldata.bmp file should be in your images folder already. If it isn't, open notepad and save the following--

To assign GM powers, you must make a hotuk.ini in your client's folder (where the game.exe is located). In the RTF thread, the third hotuk posted is usually the correct one--

Edit: ok now the window mode is ok, but whenever i logged into the game, i will dc and the server will crash, i already put my ADMIN_LOGIN and my ADMIN_NAME

As to your problems... specifics would help, people are working to create new guides to cover the missing images and such, so for a complete answer to *everything* you will have to be patient. But we can fill in if you just have a couple of blanks.

Oh i am sorry, well i managed after 10 hours constantly fixing and trixing to get my server to work. and now i cant get my admin status altho i can log in with the "admin" password to any account but not get access to the gm abilitys

The Admin password isn't for GM commands. It's for server admins to vet accounts.
