[Release] MapleRestarter

Hello, I made a MapleRestarter today in C because first of all, I'm a programmer, and I have been since I was 8, 2nd of all, there is no 'Restarter'.

All the restarters that I've seen don't really restart due to the fact that the Send/Don't Send window comes up, and 'freezes' the program until the window is closed.

So I made a restarter that does so!

Features:

• Close Send/Don't Send window automatically, insuring a restart.
• Log file, to save your server data(the output that you get)[Optional].
• Not made in batch! It's DECENT! Yay!

Please report any bugs, and give me requests for future versions.

I've tested this at least 75+ times, and it's working flawless for me, so I think it's bugless, but i will take requests into consideration.

How to use:
1. Download and extract the file(on my mirror there is a .zip and a .rar[Pick your favorite :P]).

2. Copy it to the "MapleStoryServer" folder, in your main server folder, and run the program.

NOTE: You need your "MapleStoryServer.exe" file in your "MapleStoryServer" folder, otherwise you'll get an error saying the file is not found. If you don't know where your "MapleStoryServer.exe" file is, it's either in the "Debug" folder, or the "Release" folder, depending on how you make it using Visual C++ (Where the green arrow is, there is a dropdown box, with either Debug or Release).

How To Use(With screenshots):

Download the file and extract it.(Straight foreward.)

Copy it to the "MapleStoryServer" folder, in your main server folder.

Then copy the "MapleStoryServer.exe" file from your type of compiling file(It is from the Debug, or Release folder, depending on what your compiler says).

I assume this goes in the folder with MapleStoryServer.exe?

Umm...I started it up, i got the same error as i usualy do. But it didnt restart itself...

I put it in the file with the .cpp's because it has a MapleStoryServer.exe in it. And it started up fine, said *blah blah blah* 'y' 'n'. I clicked yes and it started up.

When it got started up i got the same error as usual, Then it didnt restart. just stood there.

hmm wierd, what error did u get, the Send/Dont Send problem?

Or do u have a compiling error/running the server error

It only Restarts if the server crashes. Say a GM decided to over spawn stuff. It dosen't restart if it didn't crash.

This is a great program but it does not work with mysql without password. :busted_co

It did crash, it didnt restart though...

I said i got an error when it started up, then the error just stayed there nothing happened. And its the common error everyones getting, the debug error or w.e

BTW: It doesn't have ANYTHING to do with mySQL, it simply runs the server and checks if the box pops up.

If your getting a password error, open your source, and open mysqlm.cpp... then at the top it should say

At the 4th position, aka where it says "", add your password between the quotes.

I have a password myself, and it works fine, so your server just isn't configured right, or if your server does work normally, you need to recopy the MapleStoryServer.exe file to the directory(you must have an outdated file in the directory)

Umm, thats weird, it works for weedstory repack, but not another one cause it doesnt have release or w.e

And when i did try it with weedstory, my friends stuff got deleted, and they couldnt log in, they crashed and got invalid pointer error or something.

It was very weird.
