connecting problem !![ get SQL 2000 here ]

now i made server running successfully but m not able to enter in game ......i just get stuck in connecting connecting ......................................................for forever ......

ma ram = 1 GB ..
and cn i get solution to run it !! PLEASE

HOW TO INSTALL SQL ....
Step [1.1]
-Extract SQLEVAL.exe
Step [1.2]
-Run Setup.exe and click ''next'' 8 times.
Step [1.3]
-It will show up a window named : Services Accounts
Step [1.4]
-In the Service Settings set it to Use the Local System Account. * else it will give you an error *
Step [1.5]
-Click next and u will see a window named : Authentication Mode window
Step [1.6]
-Set it to Mixed Mode(Windows Authentication and SQL server Authentication) and right password and remeber it or write down it
Step [1.7]
-u need the sa account + password for Online Registration ! and making ODBC Reg!
- After that Click ''Next'' and continue the installation. now this part is done

Database restoring problem,

so i have found out a possible solution.. so here it is.. what i have done is
I have copied my Database files (working without any error's) .First u need to Create these Databases IN THE ENTERPRISE MANAGER

1)A3ItemEvent
2)ASD
3)HSDB
4)FriendDB
5)ADMIN
7)itemstorage
8)Clan
9)Character

Dont restore tham from any sources do this ...
Now Click Start>All Programs>Microsoft SQL server>Service Manager
STOP THE SQL SERVER
Download this file
4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download Ready made Database.exe
Go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data . and delete all files in the data folder
And extract the downloaded files To the same data folder
(I HOPE U HAVE INSTALLED SQL server in C:\Program Files)

Now u need To Hex the A3client.exe
Open It in Hex Editor
Open Search Type Mercenary
Then rite you will find 6 IP's .Edit them to yours

i have tried too
it seems the sql files in the server files has gone missing .. so u cannot create the link in sql server
even i have the ready made database it is not link properly and the server will jz stop.

the BDE files is with the server files....myserver205Modded.

ok I got the sql files .. it is now placed in DB files ..

KAKS can we work on the same database? .. I am using the A3server145final

if the DB files has a .bak extension then you should restore it using the enterprise manager. if they have .mdf extension (or whatever is the ext for mssql files) then you should copy/overwrite directly into the mssql setup. may be trycky.

Just check if you are getting any "Reply Queries" in Loginserver. It will keep on increasing as u make more and more login attempts. If these come, you need to Increase ur ram or disable some maps!

u have not edited 1 or other ip replace all ip's ya evn i faced that problem when i was noob cant help ne 1 at present coz tom is 1st board of my life and on second hand my laptop is still not fixed

If he gets the Reply Queries, then there is noting to do with misconfigured IPs because the server is listening!

To disable maps, just open the MapInfo.ini located in the Map folder of Zonedata present in the Zoneserver. Just place a ";"(semicolon) in from of the "Map" so that the map is not loaded

yea i guided him on my hamachi network ... to disable some maps ..

But i think he also got the same ram compatibility problem
