Wow.............
How is it leeching if this is a release sectio w\e
everybody since I think this guy is wrong for anti-leeching in a release section
add
case 9120000:shop(npc); break;
to your NPCSCRIPTS.h.
Just put it where all the other cases are.
EDIT: DAmn I feel guilty when i posted the answer..........I like helping others....not sure if I should respect your wishes.......
The point of Anti-leech is to allow ppl to learn C++ and not let them jsut Copy paste... I'ts to teach them that nothing can be achieved if you just copy+paste someone else's work. ESPECIALLY if you don't give credits. i hate ppl who dun give credits. e.g ppl who used !event command i posted a while back -_- i see repacks today.. with it and yet no credits... even tho i left the //credits - jimme12 LEAVE CREDITS
normally i wouldn't release anything because i know that leechers would just take the credits away. But i felt guilty to the "real" coders who spend their time getting commands and stuff, they should deserve the respect. Not the leechers who just copy+paste other ppl's work
That's why I don't even post any of my releases here.
If I wanted to, my anti-leech protection is far more worse then Slayah ones. -_-
Back to the topic:
Thanks for the .xml =)
I'll keep credits intact =D
yea i like the anti leech hahah thanks mate i dont care about it i know how too add it or code c++
Not leeching or anything, but why release to everyone when you want it to be 'anti-leech'?
There's only one way to make it 'anti-leech' and the way is that to not releasing it to the public. Simple!
but leechers can copy and paste this code.. its not hard.. and its common xP
Stop winning , it's up to the creator .
Ye if you can't code a simple NPC you must be one dumb leecher, I didn't even need a clue on how to get this to work. I did this myself on my server it's actually easy. I'm not going to give the answer even though I want to.

one thing ragezone, cef, gcf etc have in common in comparison to other sites is the first set seem to have this "deth 2 da ignorant" theme going on as to the latter forum(s) dont really give two shits because they realize that while getting credits is nice, it is not necessary nor will it be detrimental to their health is someone uses their shit.
It is becuase i want to contribute to the community and allow coders e.g. koolk, MooMoo etc. to do the more difficult codings e.g. packet finding while the easy ones e.g XML, NPCs, etc. leave it to the beginners. Another reason for why i am making this anti-leech is because i want the members of RageZone (@ the non-coders a.k.a. leechers) to actually learn some C. not to just sit on their asses waiting for a release to come out
1- Titan made 'HIS' project 'OPEN SOURCE'.
2- So that makes you a leecher too.
3- Ragezone is cooperative community for these projects. Ever stop to wonder why we didnt even get a MapleStory section until this was released.
4- GTFO if you dont have anything to release.
1. i know his is OPEN SOURCE
2. I never said i wasn't, but atleast i fkn give the credits to the makers. Unlike some leechers. Also atleast i am actually spending my spare time learning C, i don't want to be a leecher.
3. RageZone is awesome, i want to contribute to the community. For this reason that is why i have decided to release this...
4. GTFO if you don't have something supportive or positive to say. Or a good reason to say something negative.
you gave me a reason to say something negative......
release what? I didnt see you release anything. Oh, you mean the 'tease' on how to do something that 80% of us have been doing from day 1. Don't hurt yourself.Quote:

I think that for shops and npcs and all that stuff you should make it "anti-leeched",
But things like the Beholder i think you should give clues or just tell what to do.
Basically I learned everything I know from all the releases I added to my server.
But theres still many things I should learn.
Well thats my opinion anyways
Sorry for my bad english o.o
Knock it off with the "anti-leech" bullshit, its open source and is good for everyone..not just the computer jerks.
Nice release on the other hand.
Well put xnBlaze. Open Source HOOOOOYAAAA!
Look at it this way, leechers will end up not being able to keep their servers online, they won't be able to fix bugs they have created (because there's no documentation about this). So just keep releasing [anti-leech or not], leechers will leave this place sometime.
Well I've got to say.
I agree with both sides of the story here.
1. Leechers - This is infact an OPEN SOURCE which is open to the public as well this is the release section, NOT the guide section, think of it that way, you won't be teaching anyone anything if you're just "here. you know what to do"
2. Anti- Leech - This is actually VERY agreeable, reason being that I myself for one HAVE and still am learning A LOT from it. I find myself asking less and less questions as the days go on. It DOES teach you something. And does not allow you to just copy and paste and be like "LOOK I CODED THIS ALL ON MY OWN" , it actually gives you that sense to say. Hey. Look I DID! code something, not full credits to me *credits to the creator "etc" * but half of the job I MYSELF did.
HINT To The ANTI-Leecher Pros: what jimme12 did was a GREAT example of what you and others like Slayah should do. Just give little hints like that. I find myself learning a lot even if it is a hint.
ONtopic: Thank you for the release jimme12 JUST what ive been waiting for =P its getting tiring of the same old towns =P.
How long did it take you to code all the shops in there?
Really guys. There is no such thing as a leecher when it comes to an Open Source project. After all, we have all taken and expanded on TitanMS. So, if you really want to use the term leecher...we are all guilty.
Also, this is NOT a hack forum (which is where the term 'leecher' became popular) so if you want to keep your coding 'unique' .... dont release it.

I agree with xerob, plus its one showa shop...It's not like a big release like the pirate jobs or a new world.
Read this people! http://forum.ragezone.com/f425/anti-...ection-389076/
Im tired of this anti-leech bullshit. And the moderator agrees as you can clearly see.
Now guy's to stop this, we all need to help. Whenever you see an "anti-leech" that YOU can fix. Post it to help the people.
Now since im tired of this crap im gonna do my best to do it also.
Add this to NPCsScripts.h in the area it corresponds with
Now add this to the other part it corresponds with IF YOU DON'T ALREADY HAVE!Code:case 9120000: shop(npc); break;
Code:static void shop(NPC* npc);
Really people, anti-leech isn't going to do anything..
It's not like people will learn the whole language from this maple server junk.
Maybe people don't wanna learn because they'll never use it outside of this.
But, I agree you should learn something, but it's not so easy for some people.
