[HELP] More server through same client

As the titles suggests I'd like to introduce more than one server,visible and accessible though the same client.

To put it in easy words,I'd like to make two (or more than two) servers,one high-rate and another low-rate.
I tried setting up two different server on two different PC's and tried diverting each to the main host (which already had a server running on it)but it didn't work,the client only recognized the server present on the host PC.
I even tried opening two different server on the same PC but that miserably failed,but my PC crashed without letting me even look at the problem in this trial (my PC was already taking shyt load pressure from the two servers).

Ne body got a clue on how to open more than two servers together !?

It yes, notice, vai that require consumption of a memory of your PC high, nescessit minimum of 4 gb ram to take advantage of two Server, do so ...

First I have to know if you want to use the same DB DB or differentiated?

You need to have 2 Zoneagents which are configured to connect to different Account Server and Zoneserver. Just look into the SvrInfo.ini configs and you will land up in some conclusions. Make sure you know how the servers are connected and which ports are used!

2 Zoneagents accessing same server file and DBs !? Are u sure this will work !..but first of all tell me how to run about the process with a same SQL account,should i duplicate all the tables,and yea if I'm doing so,how do I connect these new tables to new locations (server files or maybe DB's,provided that i can't use the same file) ? or simple make a parallel id ?

Gawd I'll have to run around the whole process in depth for this...right!?
I know all ports begin used,though knowing about the server connections from their configurations on the same PC is a little difficult...still working on that.

...btw can some one please mess with the files to make them compatible with SQl 2005 or better versions ? I tried using them with SQl 2005 ver and got a mountain full of errors and problems...guess these files were only made for 2000 ver,they just doesn't seem to bulge !

Customizing the server would be so much easier if the files could run on the latest SQL databases...lol

The setup which you wish to go for is not intended when you wanna have everything on the same PC. If you got a DataStorage PC which only stores SQL Database, then you can setup the different servers on 2 different PC's. This kind of configuration will help you.

Try setting up 2 different servers on 2 different PC's with the same Login Server, Login Agent and Zone Agent which runs on a third PC and all of them are connected via the same fake ip.

Well I havent tried but might just work out. Give it a shot.

Loginserver, LoginAgent needs to be the same while the Zoneagent should be different (GATE) for second set of server which consists of Mainserver,Accountserver and Zoneserver

We're connecting off 2 diff connections. So it should be the same coz in order to connect 2 different zones we dont have to worry abt the gateways.

Ah! I so lost touch at coding. Bleh. Gotta go through lots of stuff again.

...btw gave it a try...non of the three i.e. Login Server,Login Agent and the Zone Agent were able to connect...maybe i did something wrong while setting up a fake ip,tried setting it through a basic LAN connection and used a static ip (cn't do this if i'm using dynamic ip's), got messed up while half way through it and also tried the Himatchi method..had hoped with this one, but failed.

...trying to find a way to use dual nics that use 2 pc's with 1 IP address for both machines..need to mess up with switches...though i will try n get more info on all this to rectify the problem.

Been there,done that !...lol i mean i have a storage PC (or can spare one for this purpose)..guide me a little bit now...

Errr... You dont seem to let it go! Anyways I am posting how it is all done!

The Primary DB Connect servers 7770(Account), 8880(Character), 9990(Itemstorage) run as usual!
LoginAgent is run and it doesnt need any more configuration!

Now Check the LoginServer. Just peep into the SvrInfo.ini you will find the following!

Here ID0=0, this 0 is the server ID of the ZoneAgent.
For both the servers to pop up, respective ZoneAgents should be running!

Regarding A3 Genesis, you guyz need to have more Zoneservers. Your server is facing Zoneserver Laag. I told Vandred sooo many times but hez too noob to undestand. And Outlaw doesnt quite meet up!

lol...we r out of topic my fren....

I just wanted to tell the use of Multiple Zoneservers. It is better to Load Beta Maps + Hatrel Maps in 1 Zoneserver and the other Clororence Tosique and Episode V Maps on the other!
