Anyone get it to run? I am adjusting my IObuffersize, from 32000 to 100 now...it loads fine everything..but when I load l2npc it gets to #3300 npc and the l2server gets memory buffer overrun..memory too low...and crashes....I have 1 gig a ram and a 2800+ AMD...so it should work...anyone help us figure this out?
yes hicks and me are both having same problem just for you all to know :(
It commits 2.5 gig of ram in taskmanager...and then just dies..so unless you got 3-4 gig of ram forget about running this.
need 2 G ram i think ....
nop... the server need 512 minimum ram u need a lot of Fisical memory to run them u can config your windows charge of fisical mem here good work of klop :thumbup:Quote:

If someone could take the npcdata.txt and npcpos.txt in the C1 Chinese server in the script DIR....and take out unneeded mobs then it might load for me....there are about 800 mobs I need taken out but no civilians for quests etc....so if someone could possibly remove the mobs unneeded...I can get C1 CHinese to run....there are 3700 or so mobs spawning....the old pre c1 chinese server had only 2300....and I already tried to load those in the C1 Chinese and no go....I will attach the txt files here if someone would really help me out and remove around 800 mobs and mobs spawns in those txt files...I bet I can get the server to run. It gets to 3300 mobs and crahses the l2server.exe becuase I'm out of memory...I have 1 gig RAM and 4999 pagefile...still not enough...the l2server.exe itself takes almost 1.5 gig to run....I have tried to split it up on the 3 computers b ut no luck, since I don thave enough ram in the others to do it...seems like l2server.exe and l2npcserver.exe need to be on same box....please HELP!!!

would this run in a 2 machine setup each with 1 gb? or maybe 3 machines?
yes ppl i did tat in 1 PC with a 1gbit ram :thumbup:
y only have configurated my pc to use 10GB of pagefiles in windows they take 20% of my D: 66gb alocated in them... :eh: but worked dont need the PetitionD.exe :thumbup: because tat the file dont come with them after the server load your ram mem liberates mem wiriting in the fisical memory allocated to pagefiles in windows :thumbup: its tat i runned perfetctly.
My pc Athlon XP 2600, 1gb ram and workded!! :icon6:

No petitionD is used? i was extracting the C1 files over the prelude ones. is it wrong?

touch your hd make sure does not overheat for safty issues I would also run few more fans on it.. forcing it like this could kill your hd..Quote:

Anyone getting access denied...please try again later...this is frustrating the hell outta me...I been workin on it for 10 hours straight...cant figureout why...I get authenticated with account and select server screen, then hit ok and it says access denied....WTF
which client do u use?
What about the DB files? how did you guys make the DB's out of the new files, there isnt any l2logjob etc..

So what did you do blasti to build the DB's/queries out of these?
I have tried US C1 CLient and also Korean C1 client with l2.ini of 212 version...and I get authenticated ok and see welcome message and server list...but when I hit ok...it goes back to login screen and says access denied..please try again laster...is there something in the lin2db for authen users we need to set....or maybe an IP issue...outside cant connect either...the socket goes full with people but then you cant get in game...I opened 7777 and 2106 in the router for that server....it worked perfect with Pre C1 Chinese server...but this one I cant seem to figure out.
I didn't use lin2user.sql.... what should we do with it ?Quote:

Im totally shooting in dark here, but in the C1 release the L2world doesnt have same places to put your IP and username/passwrd.. is there somewhere in there they should be added perhaps..
My L2server.exe also crashed, after about 3 mins though lol (when trying C1 version)

~nyx~ i have the same problem as you, my l2server loads for a while and it crashes
as for L2server and l2npc server not having gui, right click it and select maximize =p
add 4 gigs VRAM per partition. helps alot.

i got 1.5 gigs ram and 6 gigs vram and it still crashes >_<
to connect to C1 u need the full client of www.lineage2.com and u need to open the game via the system\l2.exe don
uhm.. i've got problem with loadin 'world plane collision' and 'pathnode.bin'..
when l2server is trying to load pathnode.bin, it says that file cannot be found, but that file is on the right path.. ..\geodata\pathnode.bin and it odn't have system or hidden attribute..
and then, when server is loading 'world collision data' it throws error, saying that 'cannot load file from datafile' or sth similar, i don't remeber exactly now, but it's sth like that.
can anyone tell me what's wrong, and how to make it 'read' world plane collision ?

how do i change my server status from testing to my server name?
