Telnet hacking? oh gawd.. telnet is a non encrypted protokoll.. it's not something you hack.. it's just not fucking possible since there is nothing to hack.. same with ftp.. kernel hacking is something completely diffrent too.. kernel hacking is only possible when you have actual access to the system and that site is kind of like a wargame for GAINING access.. not when you actually have access.. when you have access you can do basicly anything you want with the comp and doesnt require even NEAR the competense you would need to gain the access.. Umm.. well.. depends on what you would call root access.. You can use a telnet CLIENT to hack into a machine yes.. That is not telnet hacking though.. in this.. telnet is only one of the many things used..

Just check the source.. If the site limits you to view the source then make your own html with a link to the html you you want.. rightclick the link and use save target as.. Or use a browser that couldnt care less if they try to limit you.. Or use wget if you have that..
