I asked this in another thread but it was ignored, so I thought I'll just make a thread about it instead and you can discuss it here.

What I was thinking was - I'll make about 5 to 8 or 10 tutorials from basic photoshop to what ever skill level I'm on now. IF you guys are interested.

First step would most likely be the interface and short bindings and progressively going up.

I will be supplying the .psd files and stock images as well as brushes if they are being used in the tutorial.

They will be video tutorials and I'll try my absolute best to explain as thoroughly as possible. The tutorials will be focusing on different kind of signatures, so I will not end the tutorial by making science fictional art.

If I get enough interest in this, I'll be more than happy to help out.
But what I want from you is some small stuff on WHAT you want to learn more or better. So please post it here if you are interested.

What people want:

• Text
• Blending (Done)
• Depth and Sharpening (Done)
• Real life stock (Done)
• Photoshop Tools (Done)
• Sprite (Done)

This would be beneficial to someone like me, so I'd give it the thumbs up.

Voted yes, however I don't know what I want to learn. As far as I know I'm blessed with all the skills I want to know, or that I know of. If you show anything new I'd be more then glad to learn it.

Teach people to blend/combine a render with the background.

Interested on how you make you're signatures. Sharpening and depth

Wouldn't mind some decent photo-manipulation tuts. As I'm more of a photographer rather than a digital artist (though I do dabble) so photo-manipulations would be awesome ;)

If you need, I got some webspace and a domain name handy if you'd like one...

More so people. I can do them pretty well, but there's always room for improvement.

I don't really have any problems with landscape manipulations, they pretty much make themselves when I take the pic, gives me full control.

Text, blending text, working with text overall...
As well as anything related to backgrounds that you can help out on.

I would like to learn how to work with, real people...Not sure how to explain it, so I'll put a picture up of what I mean.

I'm extremely interested in learning on how to work with real life people like this, Adding flow to them in the background and all, I think somoene posted that peice here on Ragezone, and I've been interested ever since.

I think if any then yes that, but working it's way from a beginners tut, up to more advanced.

Sorry, what I mean is, uhm to start by giving some tutorials using tools that will be used in more advanced tuts, so that people that try them will feel more comfortable in later tuts.

Questionable. I don't feel comfortable teaching people something I lack skill in myself. But I can see if I can learn myself.

One thing I want to learn to do is to get colours that are in harmony or contrast to blend, would that be plausable?

Well, nothing is implausible. I just don't exactly know what you mean.

I meant tutorials on blending colours that "oppose" each other, like Blue and orange are in contrast because they oppose each other. I did read your first post, but I don't know why I asked about blending again :tongue:

Sure, that will come as I progress in making the signatures.

Ok. I've done some tutorials now. 4 to be exact. Fifth coming up.

The sprite one turned out pretty good imo, Genryu got to see the result and assuming he was honest he liked it.

Now I'm going to try to make a video tutorial of how I make my current signatures. If you want more tutorials, please say so now since I've got lots of free time.
