If so, what hotel do you play and what is your habbo name?
If you ask, I'm just curious =]

The 9-year-old son of a friend of mine plays Habbo on .de all the time.
sometimes go onto .fi aswell, just to try and improve my finnish.
I don't think it's such a good idea to improve your language to surround yourself by kids who hardly write the language properly.
I sometimes play .com when i get bored.

I'm banned though, until 9th june
I never played. Fear me.
Out of curiosity - what's with the general hostility towards Habbo hotel? I've never tried it, nor do I ever intend do but I'm just curious.
It basicly lacks intelligence, the users lack it even more. This is not ment as a insult but as a simple statement about it. Basicly people pay for something, that simply offers nothing really in return, the money would be better spend on a actual game, or just go to a chatroom for free.
I personally think that paying like 10 euro a month for a MMORPG is way to much, i also think it's a waste of time for the most part, but atleast i can understand why people play them and all, i can't understand it with Habbo, it simply makes no sense.
Habbo is like..the little fat kid in school that has no friends and has the most lunch money, and is generally weaker than the rest. That's how most see it anyway.
habbo hotel attracts idiots simple as
I used to play it back when i was like 9-12. I still like to code the servers though its fun to decode packets and to figure out methods of ways to code things.
I wouldn't say its mostly the game, but the users that are attracted to it like Ram said. I never played but I'd like to try tbh, rofl.
I played .co.uk hotel. My username on it was A5H--,
These days I only go on the hotel to see new updates and stuff, don't really play it. But I'm rich on it lol.
when i was at the "Habbo age" MPlayer was still around, if anyone remembers that :P
i was called 7pacman, true story
On a forum where the average age is somewhere around 18, a chat room which attracts pre-teens obviously doesn't get many kind words from the majority. The hostility comes from people who feel they're past the age where they could join habbo themselves and not be looked down on because of it, but still fail at life. So basically they're bullying kids to assure themselves they're not the lowest kind on earth.. but really, they are.
In the habbo age we used to go out and do real stuff with real people afaik. Didn't even have an internet connection back then, though..
