Will I notice any difference between these stix?
Hi all,
I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff.
I am putting together a new box and am looking at these 2 ram packs.
The first 1 will be a no-brainer. I should be able to just plug it in and go.

The second set will require me to change the voltage settings and maybe more. (not 100% on that yet)

My question is:
Is it worth it for me to get the second set and deal with ajusting the settings to get them to work?
Thanks for your help. :)
Have a nice day!
PS. I'm building this box to play AOC

1. You do not have to change any voltages, you must have read that from a review, and he had his voltages on MANUAL because he must have been OVERCLOCKING. A normal user will have to do NONE of that.
2. No, you will barely see ANY difference between the two.
3. why 4gb to play AOC?

I had previously purchesed OCZ mem. and my OS would not boot up.(it had the same voltage req. 2.1v) called support for my pc, and they said it was bad stix. Sent them back. Then posted my problem on OCZ's forum and they said I needed to adjust my mem. settings and that the stix were probably good.
If i'm not gona see much difference between the two, I want to get the first set just to avoid any problems I might encounter.
It's a new box, i'm going to run 64 bit vista. why not get 4 gb's ram to start?
Have a great day!

Ahh. Well then you aren't getting 4gb for AOC, you're getting 4gb for Vista :P
