Does it require fast net eg more than 256kb?
Looks neat, will try it.
How much?!
Game looks far too complex for me little inferior brain ! :B
i also play EVE...epic game
@rob its a 14 day trial but full members (like us) can give you a 21 day full account if i remember correctly.
its a good game, but its more single player, every other person could be replaced by an npc and it wouldnt really make a difference
never done alliance warfare have you
Aoc - Nuff said :P
I've started playing again.
Kirian Dante
Eve and I have love and hate relationship. I play it for a month... then don't play it for a year. Then I come back and I play for 6 months ... then i don't play it again for half a year.
I think its actually fun if you're playing it with people you know.
Nice to see other people are actually playing!
I doubt the younger people would like this game. It's so damn complex... I've been playing for a month and a half now, and I still have no clue what I'm doing. :P
But if you all start playing, join a corperation! Just send a message to DaCheat and I'll hook you up.
EVE = crapshit. My old college buddy tried getting me into it, he's been playing for a helluva long time and on 42 million skill points, I managed to last about a week.
It looks good, I might try the trial
jumpclones are over-rated...takes ages to get the 8 standing points needed to put one up in hisec and the proces for one in 0.0 are about 15-20mil...most 0.0 is no more than 20-30 jumps from jita.
Personally I installed them in 0.0, travelled down to hisec on freighter runs and jumped into one in 0.0. I believe you can also pay to join corps with 8+standing in empire so you can install them there, but I think they charge you :p
It's really not underrated if you have 20-30jumps of camped warp gates to go through to get to empire. As long as you don't have implants of course.
Hardest part of eve is not to get your brain melted in your first few weeks. It's a steep learning curve and without a corp it's hard to get through it intact :)
jumping through camped gates is fun...had my brain melted multiple times..each with 50mil of implants + the ship i was in.
I'm still a noob but with good planning I just got my first Caracal and equipped it with:
5x Malkuth Assault Launcher I
3x Large Shield Extender I
1x 10MN Afterburner
1x Medium Shield Booster I
2x Reactor Control Unit I
boooo caldari
id swap out the AB with an invul field...adds to the shield tank a little
Still training the skills necessary for the Invul Fields - this Cruiser is to mission with. I'll be putting the Invul Shields into the Battlecruiser I am putting together (Drake) for a little PvP action.
drake is a passive tank so it wont use an invul...ferox is much better for PvP as the drakes DPS output isnt too hot.
