Is this worth it?

Well it's 6 in the morning and I can't sleep and my back hurts like hell but lets get to the point. About a week ago I made a thread about my computer which... died. Went to see some guy yaddayaddayadda who told me I couldn't fix it. It's summer vacation now and I don't have a freakin computer. Soooo I was lookin for a new one and came across Alienware. Saw this thingie right here. I do not have any money at the moment and theres no way I can get around 900 euro to pay for it now. But I saw the Buy now, Pay Jun 2009 which is next year. Well that was the intro here is the question issit worth it? I am askin you guys, cause ya'll know computer get out dated real goddamn fast, so im askin is this computer worth the 900 euro's next year?

PS: I might retype this story I'm really tired at the moment and I can't focus straight lol, thanks in advance guys.

1. Alien is EXTREMELY overpriced. It is a big no-no for most users, let alone those who are on a budget.
2. Nothing you buy now is going to be worth its price next year. In fact, it may even be worth HALF. On top of that you are paying extra cos the brand name and their extremely overpriced cases (even though i must admit they do look kickass).

IMO, wait till you have the money, THEN see what you can get. You would be able to get better than that, and alot cheaper, next year.

Well if you're on a low budget, I'd just say build a computer. It's a pretty fancy pants computer, and the price you're paying for a desktop with those specs isn't that fantastic. I think you could get a better one. But thats just imo, I could be wrong *shrug*

It's going to take me months to get a new computer and like I said it's summer vanacation now so I need one at the moment. You guys got a site with computers which I can pay next year for? Cause this shitty thing right here is killing me.

Alienware computers are NEVER worth the price.

Any suggestions? I'm not making one myself again.

Dude. i have a basic setup that will most likely change before i get the money for my pc. Lol i bought AoC knowing i can play to just to have it :P Things take time. and if you build it. like my 900-1k budget itl be most likely better then that AW your looking at. + mine will cost 300$+ more then that AW :P Build on small budgets

You really think I asked to buy an alienware computer just for MSN, wordpad etc etc? Hell no, I already now what I am going to use it for, just like my old one..gaming. There's just NO f*cking way that I can raise the money I want in 2 months.

The point still stands. You can either buy an alienware and waste all your money away, or you can buy a superior one for less cash than an alienware and put it together yourself. Building a PC can be done easily in under an hour even for a novice.

If you want to waste your money on Alienware you might as well just get this one
